Perfect 😃👌🏼

Read up on the consept before coming, this is not a reastaurant per se. And if you expect it to be a traditional restaurant, you’ll be disappointed for sure.

But what a great place to eat and drink!

My lovely wife and I ordered a table for two a couple of days in advance, as we wanted to try something new before seeing a play in Kuppelhallen - and Pincho Nation Stavanger turned out to be a wonderful choice 😃

The consept is simple, you order food and drinks in the app once seated and you fetch your drinks and food by yourself. Drinks in the bar on the 1st floor and food by the kitchen on the 2nd floor.

When you are satiated and done you also pay in the app, everything is really easy and uncomplicated.

—-

I’ve seen and read quite a few bad reviews on the consept and service - but I am sure all of those people did not know this is not an ordinary restaurant. Like I wrote: read up on the consept before visiting, it is like nothing you have seen before - which IMO made it truly great 😊

—-

The dishes are small, so you can easily try 6 different dishes - or 10 if you’d like - this consept offers is a wonderful palate experience, being able to have a taste of many different dishes at once.

And you can always order more, as we did 🍿🫕

Where else can you actually taste the whole menu in one meal? The food tasted great, such a thrill to get to taste all those succulent dishes 😋 Absolutely fantastic 😊👍🏼

The staff was also truly amazing, we were welcomed by the circus director and he made sure everything was perfect.

The bartender was also very welcoming and professional, and wishing us the best when collecting our drinks. And the glasses of prosecco were filled to the brim, unlike in your traditional restaurant where you’ll always be wanting more for your penny.

In addition to the circus director, we also had two waitresses who were very helpful as they were always smiling, being friendly, helpful and acommodating our every wish throughout our meal (or stay, it felt more like an experience than a meal) 🫶🏼

We will definitely be coming back, this was truly an amazing place offering an amazing experience 😃👌🏼

But then again, we are a glass-half-full kind of couple - if you are the opposite you just might find this to be a 1-3 ⭐️ experience, you can go just about anywhere to give your bad review (that you’re bound to...

What a bad experience we had! We were first ones to arrive when the restaurant opened, following our booking time. We got seat by the door and when asked to change because it was really cold, as the door was being constantly opened and the air coming from the outside was freezing, we got told no even if the restaurant wasn't even close to full yet. Was fully booked but as first ones to arrive and only 3 people at the table we guessed wouldn't be that difficult to just swap places to a table a bit further from the door, but no. We were cold during the whole dinner, our food got cold in a few minutes. We really just wanted to leave, but we ordered.. Being the first ones to arrive we ordered quickly, but it took exact 43 minutes for our food to be ready.Never waited so long here before. People that came after us got food before, no idea why.. After a long wait the food quality really was disappointing, been there before and it was quite OK but this time absolutely not, quality has dropped dramatically. Nothing that we ordered looked merely like what they show on the app when you ordered. Burger was dry, ribs had no sauce like advertised, the 'torpedo shrimps' was as boring as it could be, small and tasteless, bao buns were sad, the plank steak that i always used to ordered have reduced the size of the beef drasticly, seriously it was half size than it was last time. Honestly it is a overpriced and over hyped place. I don't mind paying all that we paid if the food and service is actually good. But it angers me to spend my hard earned money to have bad food, bad service and in a whole a bad experience.

I've been there before a while a ago and it was good enough to return but this was definitely the last time. What a shame! They have...

This is a large tapas concept restaurant. You download their app, and order a bunch of different appetizers. Each meal is around 55 kr. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant, they have a circus theme. You are given free well seasoned popcorn as an appetizer upon entry.

I ordered 5 meals including fish and chips, Vegeterian chilli burger, fried shrimp tempura, fried colliflower, and a shrimp taco. The total bill was 300 kr which is the typical price of a restaurant dinner meal in Stavanger. I think 4 of their meals would be enough for most people.

Overall I was very happy with the food. It was well seasoned, the sauces were delicious, and all the fried food was crispy. The food was cooked to serve. It was nice to try so many different types of food together at once, although it makes it difficult to rate each dish seperately. I cannot say that each dish on its own was flawless, but my review is based on the overall quality of the food which was great.

My main complaints would be related to the service and the app. The photos on the app make some of the food look much bigger than what it is. All the meals are mini-size, although I think they are fairly priced. Additionally you need to pick up the food yourself from the second floor. The food is served on these wooden plans without any rails, so you need to be careful bringing to back to your table especially if sitting on the first floor.

I went here alone but I think this would be much better experience with friends. I plan to be back with friends. I think ordering 3-4 different appetizers per person would be a very fun experience here at an...

At the end of this meal the first thing I did was go to McDonald’s - where the food service and quality was better than Pincho Nation. Here’s why: 1) The drinks - the restaurant had over 5 spritz’s listed on the app but no ingredients are listed. We ordered an aperol spritz which had barely any aperol in and a wild strawberry spritz which just tasted like sugar (who knows what alcohol was in it). It also was pictured with a strawberry but we didn’t receive a strawberry 2) The service - the kebab in pita bread arrived without any pork in it - just bread and sauce. When I complained to the chef he literally laughed in my face 3) The food - all the dishes we ordered were bland and served in very small quantities. For example, the nachos came with one piece of beef, the cauliflower was tasteless and the kebab once corrected had the driest pork imaginable In 4) The restaurant - the floors are so sticky 5) The concept - doesn’t work for the price you would expect service. Carrying multiple plates of food down a set of stairs is a nightmare is not a pleasant experience nor is it what you want to do when you are dining out 6) Just because it’s tapas it doesn’t mean that you don’t need full sized cutlery or plates Overall, I am so disappointed that we chose this restaurant for an anniversary dinner. I feel ripped off and left hungry. I would actively encourage everyone to boycott this restaurant and spend your money on flavoursome food elsewhere
