Peppes Pizza Stavanger — Restaurant in Stavanger

This is a large dine-in pizza restaurant. It was spacious and clean, and had a nice vibe appropriate for gathering with friends and family.

I ordered the Vegeterian Pizza. Unfortunately I waited over 40 minutes for the Pizza and I was not given a warning that it would take that long. I understand the pizza is freshly made, but if it takes longer than 20 minutes the customer should be made aware of this. The waiter apologized to me for the late arrival and offered a 20% discount. But I could not find him when it was time to pay and paid the full price.

Okay putting aside the wait time which could of been a mistake they don't usually make, let us talk about the food. The Peppes sauce I actually enjoyed. It felt fresh and not like a store bought sauce. The taste was similar to a salsa, I liked it. The pizza itself was very unique and enjoyable. For me it felt like a very well done pizza that a person made at their home. It was freshly baked, and the bread was thick and soft. It was like a regular American or Italian style pizza. They had a variety of fresh topics and a good balance of flavours. It was not a fast food pizza, but also did not seem like a regular dine-in pizza like other pizza restaurants. Absolutely AMAZING FOOD AND PLACE!!! Staff is very polite and very friendly. Unfortunately we was witness horrible couple who was sit behind us and complained about waiting time for food as the chicken didn't wanted wait and her bold fat partner the same. Funny is they was complaining about we had food before them but we came BEFORE YOU and you been told you'll have to wait 35-40min as it was very busy. On top of that she wanted everything for free because she don't want wait! Good on you guys who work there! She was nasty and him and I wish to meet them and give them piece of mind as their was ridiculously RUDE! Definitely will recommend this place! Fantastic pizza and size is ridiculously big! Nice looking place, but strange service and mediocre food. At first, the waitress was very attentive. After that, she was scarce and at the end of our pizza meal, we sat with dirty plates for half an hour, no offers of more drinks, we had to ask them to clear, we had to ask for dessert menus and we had to ask for the bill, so in other words, very little pro-active service, and we were served by different waitresses (which was odd in these Corona times).
