7 Fishes — Restaurant in Muscat

23 January 2025; back in Muscat Oman, and I couldn't wait to get back to this restaurant. Tried a different selection of foods;the Seafood White Casserole, a salad, with bread and pickled vegetables and oh my; it tasted as good as the dish I had 9 months prior during Ramadan 2024 (I chose this place for the Ifthar;the time when the fast is broken) Still worth🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 ;amazing restaurant 👍🙂.

No doubt I'll be here more times, savouring more tasty offerings before returning to the UK.

What a meal to end an awesome stay in Oman. Abdul served lobster in cream and cheese Sauce which was so good. Also a fan of my Seaford pasta bake ;I didn't want to come back and not taste it again, so Abdul was good enough to make a smaller portion so I could enjoy both with pickled vegetables, bread and orange juice.

For anyone coming to Oman;the two most convenient locations I recommend booking your hotel in are either Ghubra or Al Khuwair. Ghubra may be a marginally longer walk but both are accessible to the 7Fishes restaurant.

I gotta tell you; there are so many great restaurants in Al Khuwair, but if you don't get to sample this one, you'll have truly missed out. I happened to stumble on this restaurant after returning from Al Mouj and the food there was really great. Its specialism is seafood as the name suggests. I had a vegetarian Baba Ghanoush with bread starter, but for the main chose the seafood pasta (casserole). The portion was generously enormous, but the taste ;oh my goodness, I genuinely could not have wanted a better supper👍😋. The pasta is offered with shrimp, calamari and pieces of fish in the richest and tastiest cream sauce with a side of vegetables. I'm so sorry I discovered this just a few days before returning to the UK. This is definitely a place to dine in MORE than once. A very well earned 5stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. The service at Seven Fishes was excellent. Our server was very attentive (although he was busy) and knowledgeable about the menu. He made sure we had everything we needed and made helpful recommendations.

The food was also excellent. The creamy seafood soup was rich and flavorful, and the grilled supreme fish was cooked perfectly. The Saidiyaa rice was also delicious, and it was a great accompaniment to the fish.

The portions at Seven Fishes are generous, so you're sure to leave feeling full. And the prices are reasonable, so you can enjoy a delicious meal without breaking the bank.

Overall, I had a great experience at Seven Fishes. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good seafood...

Best restaurant in Muskat. The depth of flavour in every single dish is ridiculous. If this restaurant was in London there would be a queue out the door. Hopefully this place gets the recognition it deserves. The seafood soup is the best soup I’ve ever had in my entire life. The starters of Baba Ghanoush, Tomato Salad and Tahina were sensational.
