Recently visited Al Tamam Restaurant and tried their puttu and beef – a classic combination that was pretty satisfying overall. The puttu was soft and well-steamed, with just the right texture, pairing nicely with the spiced beef curry. The beef was tender, cooked to perfection, and the flavors were good, though perhaps not extraordinary. It was a decent, comforting meal if you’re in the mood for traditional flavors without too much fuss.

I visited friday noon for lunch and was thoroughly disappointed with the experience. The service was extremely slow, our server seemed overwhelmed and inattentive. We had to ask multiple times for basic requests like spoon and refill of sides.

The food which i ordered is nikah mutton briyani (saw their colour adv) was also a letdown, expecting a flavorful and tasty, but what I got was plain, dry, and lacking seasoning. The quantity of mutton was very minimal considering the prices.

The ambiance was the only redeeming quality, but it wasn't enough to make up for the subpar service and food. For a restaurant with such high ratings, I expected much better. Unfortunately, I won't...

Overall a bad experience.

Kunju kozhi porichu - tiny bits of chicken which was hardly any meat and more bones. Taste was jus oily deep fried. Rating 3/10

Paal kappa with beef - wasn't that bad but neither too exciting also. Could be the only dish one might want to try there jus for the sake of it. Rating 5/10

Samundhra nidhi kizhi- Absolutely horrible dish. Some frozen seafood cooked without any flavour. The worst dish I've had in a really long time. Rating 0/10

Service was average. Hardly 3 table of customers and the servers were still a bit clueless.

The wash area is disgusting. Would have been neater if the toilets are closed and not open to the customers wanting to use the wash basin.

Overall Rating- 1/10 Definitely not...
