Worst Biryani Ever! || Good bye to Oman Thattukada || #SayNoToBadFood

When the urge to eat Thalassery dum biryani for the weekend lunch, we were wondering which restaurant to go to. Then the Oman Thattukada came to our mind. We had a bad experience with this restaurant before. Once I ordered the Kizhi porotta and when I opened it, looked like it had been dipped in water, instead of beef curry. Kizhi porotta is over. !! I thought I would never go there again. But I went there again thinking that I could try one more time.

25 minutes of long waiting, we were served two biryani. As soon as I started eating, I realized that rice does not have salt and the chicken is not cooked well. We complained about it. Then a waiter came and said sorry for what happened. And insist me to wait. They assured me that they will give me another one within 10 more minutes. It was already late. So I told him to parcel it instead of having it from there. We were shocked when we got home and opened the parcel. Instead of Thalassery dum Biriyani, we got something like Chicken with fried rice. What they did was, take the same biriyani which served us in the pot and fried it using more oil and salt and parceled it. The funniest part is even they mixed up pickle & chutney while refrying.!! The rice color was grey instead of white. And the chicken was oily and very hard. It is not even biriyani.!! I have never tasted a worse biryani (sorry rice) than this in my life and pretty sure I won't ever,..

A proper Kerala restaurant with a cozy interior. Went to have dinner, Rahul our service person is very nice and accommodative. We had paneer tikka, was their special item it seems with their own spices and chicken ularthiyadhu - a dry chicken curry with parotta and chappathi Food is really tasty What I love is the graphics in one wall. When I asked I was told the shop has three partners, and two of them were portrayed as a cartoon graffiti. Even their menu card adorn the same.

A crowded yet nice place to have...

I would like to give you 0 stars. But there is no option for that. Today I went to oman thattukada for lunch. It was a very bad experience.

1. there is no Ac. The environment is very hot 2)about food. I did order 1 chatting chor and my husband ordered beef biryani. About chatti chor. Very bad taste. I asked them 2 times for their pappadam. But they didn't give me. About biryani is below average. Kindly my request is don't go oman...
