I've been going to this place for a few years now. It's one of the best spots in the plateau. This story started with the lemonade combo. It comes with a pita bread wrap, a salad, and the lemonade. For the wrap, I always choose the Djaj one. There's chicken taouk, garlic sauce, turnips, and pickles. The wrapped is grilled, and that gives a nice crunchy bite to it. The salad I got is the fattoush. I love this salad. There's lettuce, cucumber, pepper, radish, tomatoe, crispy pita, and pomegranate syrup based vinaigrette. I first got this combo and never ordered anything else from the menu. I'm sure the rest is good, too, but I can not go against a winner combination. The price is good for the great food they serve. The waitress gave us a decent service as expected. The cook has been there since forever. Probably the owner, but I can say that the product stayed consistent after that many years. Thank you for the food. I will keep going to this place. I give nothing less than 5 stars for this place.

Went there on a Monday evening. It was not crowded. Ordered the vegetarian dish with 5 options. Took hummus (basic, but good), fattoush salad (classic, simple dressing, refreshing, different textures dur to the pita chips makes the salad even better), couscous salad (good and filling), quinoa salad (sooo goood with a sesame oil and salt dressing, very unique flavor) and a broccoli salade (contained crunchy radish and apple slices, which is light to eat). Honestly nothing bad to say about the veggie dish. For 20$ (tax and tip included), I was full, the portion was big and you get as much pita as you want until you finish your hummus My friend got the chicken omnivore dish and she loved the chicken, saying it qas juicy and very well seasoned and she was surprised by how good everything on the dish was. Highly recommend for all types of diets (vegan, vegetarian, keto, other)! Great food and just prices!

Overall, I've enjoyed the food very much in Montreal. This meal was really what I was craving. Both the chicken and beef were perfect to me, just the right texture, seasoning, and juiciness. The spicy garlic sauce makes a great compliment to both meats. The fattouche salad was a perfect tangy contrast to the savory and spicy of everything else. The lentil rice was good, with more than a hint of fennel. The hummus definitely tasted house made fresh and yummy, the only negative for me is a personal taste: one of the two hummus flavors had a chipotle taste.. I do not enjoy chipotle at all. I had to add a second picture once I discovered the little nest of pickled cabbage hidden on my plate.. it has such a vibrant color and such a unique flavor: a salty, vinegary tang that was such a good contrast to everything else on the plate. Highly recommend this place.

Lower quality food and taste versus even a couple years ago. Dramatically reduced portion sizes. The meat skewers are now mostly less than the thickness of a quarter. I'm also pretty sure they're premade earlier in the day and not grilled fresh. For the record, the picture shows the amount of meat I received in a roughly $30 meal, minus the two pieces I already served. Yes, it's that small. This is a very small box. The rice and lentils is made in advance and the rice is hard and unpleasant by the time you get it. The veggie quality is also worse, but at least they're still using olive oil. This place isn't cheap and I feel cheated. Won't return. For the price, my experience was frankly one star but I've left another for their past quality.

Overall good food and location, but it is small place. If you can't find a seat, you could take your food to go and eat outside, there's a nice park with many benches next to the restaurant. I got the #1 combo (pictured at the bottom), which includes a sandwich, a salad and a delicious homemade lemonade. I ordered the Roma sandwich, which has beef in it. A bit spicy but very good. The salad is also tasty, although a bit oily. The lemonade has a mint flavour to it, I definitely recommed trying it. Pictured above is my friend's order, the omnivore platter. It comes with slices of pita bread and hummus, served with grilled chicken and the same salad. A delicious meal for the price of 13$, this shop should be a stop if you're around the area.

When we first picked Omnivore, it was a just somewhere to eat but as we sat there it turned out to be a very wholesome place. When we walked in we were greeted by a wonderful ambiance and very nostalgic music. It was calming watching people walk in and out as me and my friends talked and waited for our food. The server was quick working and super patient with us. Plus the battata was amazing! Side dishes are a must order here. They’re one of a kind and the portions are so generous ! The food is just the right amount to keep you fed and fill you up. If you ever decide to go eat there, definitely don’t be fooled by it’s simple outwards look because when you go in you’re bound to taste something new.
