Gaufres & Glaces — Restaurant in Montreal

Was walking with my parents for our weekly ice cream outing and discovered this place by complete chance!

SO MANY CHOICES. You have waffle on stick you can dip in their various chocolate coatings, around 8 different types of soft serves you can mix (up t0 3 flavours you can swirl) and match, bubble tea, 6 or 7 different types of cones for the ice cream, and so much more I probably missed.

The store is super cute with neons and fairy lights. The two girls working the counter were so nice and helpful, my parents and I were definitely feeling a bit lost because everything looked good but we didn't want to order too much.

Their main dessert is a bubble waffle filled with soft serve ice cream and you can add chocolate and toppings. A bit like the Hong Kong egg bubble waffles but instead of the solid ice cream, various types of sweet/fruity soft serves. You can also choose to swirl up to 3 different flavours of their soft serve in the waffle. However, it is very large, you can easily eat it for 3 people. We decided not to get it because none of us could agree on a flavour.

My father got strawberry banana swirl in waffle cone, my mother got the orange swirl with waffle cone, and I ordered the vanilla soft serve with ferrero rocher chocolate coating in a chocolate waffle cone.

My father said his tasted like a smoothie in cone, and my mother liked her cone more than the ice cream.

I really liked mine! I though the chocolate coating was excellent and so was the cone. I had never had a chocolate waffle cone before. The vanilla ice cream was ordinary though, so might try another of their...

Strawberry Nutella 🍓 (classic flavour) Ferrero rocher 🤎 (NEW flavour)

When I say these were loaded I mean they were LOADED 😳 the soft serve ice cream was so creamyyyy and the toppings were a plenty !!! the bubble waffles were oh so fresh made right in front of you, we were drooling just watching them create these bad boys lol 🤤

Once handed to us we could barely hold it in one hand, as you can see my friend was a trooper with carrying both for the pictures lolol 😜

It was her first time trying bubble waffles and we’re so glad it was with gaufres et glaces because they have set the standard 👏🏼

We wanted to try so much more but these were so filling that we will have to make a trip back just to try the rest of the menu lol 🙈 bubble waffles are just the tip of the iceberg, they have everything from bubble waffles and bubble teas, to smoothies and milkshakes, even waffles and crepes!

Their selection of ice cream and gelato is so vast, including vegan flavours 🙌🏼

There is something for everyone and trust me if you are in Montreal this place is a must, make sure to save and check them out y’all 💃🏻
