Mirador Misti — Restaurant in Arequipa

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in the country. We ordered one dish (vegetarian rocoto relleno), and waited over an hour for it to come out. We were very hungry by the time it came out and had to ask the waitress to check on the food before it came out (and it miraculously came out moments after we asked). We’ve had 4-5 vegetarian rocotos, and this was by far the worst one. There was no flavor, no spice, and the vegetables tasted raw. The papas were also unflavored. We specifically ordered the rocoto to be spicy, and there was still absolutely no flavor. To make things worse, my stomach started feeling upset soon after we started eating it. Decent spot for a quiet meal, I admit I am a repeat customer. Why one star less: food is average and service is a bit on the slower side (45 minutes and up once your order is placed). Twice when I ordered palta rellena they brought me Rocoto Relleno, on 2 different visits not sure why (for those that do not know what those are they are NOT the same thing). All that said it's a good atmosphere and I will likely go back again! Just don't be in a rush...

Ρωτήσαμε κάποιους ντόπιους ξεναγούς,τι πρόταση έχουν να μας κάνουν για γεύμα!Μας πρότειναν λοιπόν το mirador misti ως μια πολύ καλή επιλογή ντόπιας κουζίνας!!! Πρόκειται για μια παραδοσιακή ταβέρνα, με ντόπια, παραδοσιακά φαγητά κ πολύ ιδιαίτερη διακόσμηση που θυμίζει κατα πολύ δικά μας Ελληνικά ορεινά χωριά, με κεφάλια ζώων τρόπαια να κοσμούν τους τοίχους, τομάρια, τραπεζομάντηλα παραδοσιακά πολύχρωμα να στολίζουν τα τραπέζια.. Έχει εσωτερικό ισόγειο χώρο κ στον επάνω όροφο, εξωτερικό χώρο(ταράτσα).Η θέα απο εκεί βρίσκεται προς το ηφαίστειο misti...!! Το φαγητό άργησε κάπως, αλλά τουλάχιστον πολλά απ τα πιάτα ήταν πολύ καλά! Το saltado alpaca ήταν καλό, το ψάρι τους που μοιάζει με σολωμό αλλά είναι πέστροφα ήταν καταπληκτικά ,κ η χορτόσουπά τους το ίδιο...το σεβίτσε ωστόσο δεν μας εντυπωσίασε κσθόλου. Το pisco τους πολύ καλό!!! Το μαγαζί διαθέτειω μονο σκάλες για τον επάνω όροφο, λίγο απότομες, κ σε κάποιο σημείο θέλει κ να σκύψεις λίγο το κεφάλι σου...δεν ενδείκνυται για ανθρώπους με κινητικά προβλήματα.
