Came across this restaurant just walking around the plaza and our hotel looking for rocoto relleno to try. The place seemed like it had a nice ambience so we tried it out. The wait for our door was like 30 minutes or more which felt like forever!! The restaurant wasn’t even at all full! The food was a bit salty and not as hot as I would have wanted it. It was just warm. I felt like there was too much cheese on the rocoto relleno but it was my first time trying and and so maybe that’s just the way it’s made. Very good restaurant, right in the centre of Arequipa. Friendly waiters, very helpful with the Spanish-English translation (if needed). The dishes are very tasty and the portions are very satisfying. The service is fast, so you have time to enjoy what you have planned for after the meal. Very good cocktails (we tried the Chicha Morada here and it was very good)....

I really liked the place/environment - very cosy and friendly staff. The dishes were also very tasteful, well presented and the price was fine. Also it is located in the historical centre, so it's very handy for visitors and there are several other restaurants, stores and cafés nearby.
