El Fogón — Restaurant in Huaraz

This place is one of the few restaurants that has impressed me with the attentive and polite service of its staff. The Restaurant is clean and well-maintained. This restaurant offers both regional and Peruvian cuisine, standing out for its varied dishes such as picante de cuy, trout, anticuchos, barbecued chicken, soups, and salads, among others. Additionally, the daily menu includes an appetizer, main course, soup, drink, and dessert at an economical price considering the quality of the food and service.

They also offer delivery service, which is very convenient if you are busy. However, the delivery service can be a bit slow at times, so I recommend placing your orders in advance.

I highly recommend this restaurant to those who wish to enjoy authentic regional and Peruvian cuisine...

We absolutely loved this place! We came here following a recommendation from our hotel, and it quickly became our favorite restaurant in Huaraz. Everything about the experience exceeded our expectations.

The fish I ordered was cooked to perfection; juicy, tender, and full of flavor. My boyfriend had the beef, and it was so good he couldn't stop talking about it for the rest of the evening. It was perfectly seasoned, beautifully cooked, and incredibly satisfying.

And the papaya juice was Simply heavenly. It was fresh, naturally sweet, and the perfect complement...

Sat down to a table immediately with an excellent waitor and kind hostess. Service was excellent and food came out quickly. Very good selection on the menu here. Had the anticuchos, pollo a la parilla, papacashqui soup (massive bowl, be prepared), and the chicha morada. All had great flavor, left very full and happy. The ancillary staff and expos were super friendly as well. Will return to try other menu options I did not...
