Brasa Roja was my go-to spot during my time in Huaraz, especially while prepping for a mountaineering trip. I was careful with what I ate, and this place never disappointed. The lomo a la parrilla with veggies, rice, and eggs was my regular, but I also enjoyed the lomo saltado and even the lomo saltado pizza. The staff was always friendly and happy to accommodate my preferences—like swapping fries for baked potatoes or offering a veggie-based salad. Great portions, fair prices, and consistently high quality. My only suggestion: offer Wi-Fi so I could stay longer and get some work done!

Great place for having an international lunch/dinner. Location is great and staff is really attentive. Food is quite cheap and the amount of food is good too. However, took a while to get food in our table (we order anything but pollo a la brasa, roasted chicken). We saw a lot of Pollos a brasa coming out of the kitchen before our plates did. I bet Pollos a la brasa must be good then!

I was a bit disappointed by the food, the fries were undercooked and the meat in the burger was not the best. But the price was very good so you can't expect a first class experience. Just few more minutes cooking the fries would make everything way better. I also appreciate the service and the sauces. I recommend the place, just it looks better in the photo then reality.

Terrible experience. We ordered just two soups and a juice to drink. My soup has arrived but without the spoon. When I asked for a spoon, the waiter brought fork and knife instead.Waited another 10 minutes for a spoon. The other soup has never arrived.Oh yeah it did when we are leaving, the waiter was running with a soup, but different from what we have ordered. What a mess!Maybe we were just "lucky" to get this very confused waiter...i dont know. But from such a fancy restaurant I'd expect at least some appology or something..Anyway the soup was eatable,i didn't like big chunks of chicken...disapointment..mostly with...
