Reply from August 5, 2025 I left reviews in three different languages not to deliberately harm this place’s reputation. Let’s be honest, it doesn’t even deserve one. But travelers deserve to know just how appalling this place really is. And after reading their response, I’m even more certain that everything I said was true. If I truly wanted to destroy their reputation, trust me, I wouldn’t have stopped at just three reviews. I did it because the platform limits how much I can say in a single post, I even had to shorten my original review due to character limits, otherwise I couldn't post this reply. I tried to use simple words to keep the original meaning. A place like this? Avoiding it is pure luck. Attached is my booking record and the conversation I had with your staff at the time. I don’t see anywhere that the check-in time was mentioned. To this day, you still insist that you made no mistake, and even act dishonestly by trying to blame me while playing the victim. You didn’t kindly offer a solution free of charge — I refused to pay. At first, you even asked me to pay 20 soles for the tent, but I don’t believe I should take responsibility for your mistake. You’ve hosted hundreds of guests, and I’ve been to hundreds of places, but this is the first time I’ve experienced something like this. AVOID this place like the plague — it’s basically a SCAM. Overall rating: 0/10. They gave away my CONFIRMED room without telling me, BLAMED me for THEIR mistake, and offered me a DISGUSTING tent in a STORAGE room instead. The place is FILTHY, the staff is RUDE, and NO ONE takes RESPONSIBILITY. HANDS DOWN the WORST experience I’ve ever had with a place to stay. Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. If you want to experience a disrespectful and irresponsible stay, I highly recommend this accommodation. I booked via WhatsApp on July 24 for a July 27–31 stay. They confirmed, then ghosted me—no check-in info, no rules, nothing. I took a Cruz del Sur bus from Lima to Huaraz on July 27, which was scheduled to arrive at 6 PM but was delayed for unknown reasons and only arrived at 9 PM. After a long journey, I just wanted to rest, but the staff kept asking questions and then told me my room had been given away because I was “too late.” Even when I showed proof of the booking via WhatsApp, they insisted it was my fault for not informing them. But I had no internet on the bus, and they never mentioned any check-in deadline beforehand. I told them all of this, and also pointed out that they never even messaged me to say they had given away the room. Other guests were prioritized while I stood there ignored. Their “solution”? A filthy tent in a storage lobby. I offered to pay 10 soles at most, since it wasn’t my fault—they refused, blamed other staff, and told me to leave if I wouldn’t pay. It was a national holiday weekend. At 11 PM. With nowhere else to go. Eventually, they put me in a storage room upstairs with a bed, and the next day moved me to a mixed dorm. That dorm’s bathroom was filthy—clearly never cleaned. The girl in the next bed checked out in the morning. A female staff member entered the room around 7 AM while everyone was sleeping, talked loudly on the phone, made the bed without changing the sheets or pillowcases. Half an hour later, a man checked in to that same dirty bed—I doubt he knew. Before checking out, I tried to contact the staff who originally confirmed my stay, but she never read or replied after two days. I tried speaking to other staff, but again, they deflected responsibility and blamed me for arriving late—even though I was never informed of any rules. The staff deflected blame, blamed each other, never apologized, and took no responsibility. Even days later, the person who confirmed my booking never replied. This was my worst experience in Peru—dishonest, irresponsible, and utterly indifferent. THEY CARE ONLY ABOUT MONEY, NOT PEOPLE. I’m sure even after reading this, the staff will think it’s not their fault, because that’s just who they are: they never reflect or take accountability.

You prioritized other guests, ignored me, and made it clear the only thing you cared about was getting money. You say you’ve hosted hundreds of travelers? El 27 tomé un bus desde Lima a Huaraz. Debía llegar a las 6 PM, pero se retrasó y llegamos a las 9 PM. Al llegar, el personal me hizo esperar y luego me dijeron que mi habitación ya no estaba disponible “porque llegué tarde”. Mostré la conversación de WhatsApp, pero igual me echaron la culpa. Nunca me informaron que perdería la habitación ni que había una hora límite. La habían entregado a otra persona sin avisarme. Durante todo este proceso, otros huéspedes seguían llegando y eran atendidos de inmediato, mientras a mí me ignoraban por completo. Siempre daban prioridad a los demás y me dejaban esperando. Finalmente me ofrecieron una carpa sucia en el lobby, en una zona de almacenamiento, sin privacidad. La habitación costaba 30 soles, la carpa 20. Pedí pagar solo 10 porque el error no era mío, pero se negaron. Dijeron que era culpa de “otro trabajador” y si no me gustaba, buscara otro lugar (a las 11 de la noche, en feriado nacional, con todo lleno). La carpa estaba sucia, el baño compartido lleno de basura, nadie limpiaba nada. Me pasaron a una especie de bodega con una cama, y al día siguiente a un dormitorio. Vi con mis propios ojos cómo usaban la misma cama sin cambiar sábanas. Nadie se hacía responsable por nada, y todos se culpaban entre sí. Intenté contactar a quien me confirmó la reserva. Nunca respondió. Hablé con otros empleados y todos decían lo mismo: “no es mi culpa”. Desde el inicio hasta el final, el trato fue pésimo. Este lugar es irresponsable, sucio, deshonesto y absolutamente irrespetuoso. Solo les interesa el dinero. No les importa el huésped. Ni una disculpa. Ni una explicación. 如果你想體驗不受尊重的感覺及不負責任的態度,歡迎來這間住宿。 我在7/24透過whatsapp預訂了7/27-7/31的住宿,獲得報價後住宿房遲遲沒有回覆,於是我於7/26再次傳訊息詢問這樣有預定成功嗎?住宿方回覆是,爾後也再也沒有回覆,沒有告訴我是否有check in時間限制或其他注意事項等等。 我搭乘7/27由lima開往huaraz的巴士,搭的是秘魯評價最好的cruz del sur,表定晚上6點到,然後不知為何延誤了3小時,以至於我晚上9點才到青旅,經過長途巴士只想好好休息,結果住宿方不斷請問等,後來才說現在沒有我的房間了,因為我太晚到所以把房間給別人了。即使我提出預訂的whatsapp證明也沒用,他們說我晚到沒有傳訊息告知,然而事實上是我在車上並沒有網路,也不知道會有入住時間限制,因為在入住前這些資訊我都不知道,我告訴他們但你們把房間讓給別人也沒有傳訊息告訴我。過程中不斷有其他客人,他們總是優先選擇處理別人的問題,把我晾在一邊,又說不然幫你鋪帳篷,原本的房費是30soles,帳篷是20soles,我覺得非常不合理因為根本不是我的問題,為什麼還要付費,我告知最多就是10soles,他們不接受還說不是他們的錯,是其他員工把房間給別人的,不能接受10soles,不然就要我去找別的住宿,但適逢秘魯國慶連假又晚上十一點了,我根本沒地方可以去,所有房間都滿了。 明明是團隊經營,員工內部的溝通出錯,導致客人權益損失卻一副事不關己又不負責任的態度真的讓人十分詬病,還不斷地踢皮球,甚至想把問題歸咎在他人身上,後來看了帳篷環境,根本就只是鋪在大廳的儲藏空間,人來人往毫無隱私可言,環境髒亂,一樓的廁所打開滿地垃圾,員工自己也傻眼,經過一整天只想好好休息,卻連基本的尊重都沒有,他們唯一在乎的就是能不能拿到錢。 強烈反應為什麼明明是住宿方問題卻沒人願意負責,後來被安排到頂樓一間倉庫,裡面至少有一張床,隔天換到混合宿舍房,廁所非常髒根本沒人在打掃,隔壁床的女生一早Check out,一位女員工在早上七點多大家都還在休息時走進來房間講電話,她把床鋪整一整,完全沒換床單枕頭套,半小時後有一位男生住了進來,我想他應該不知道他的床是髒的。 Check out前我試圖聯繫當初答應我住宿的員工,過了兩天她不讀不回逃避責任,我再嘗試和員工溝通,然而換得的仍然是他們的推托說這並不是他們的責任,是我太晚到(但我根本不知道入住規則,因為員工不回訊息),從頭到尾態度都非常差,這絕對是我在秘魯最糟糕的住宿經驗,不負責任又不誠實,他們根本不在乎你的感受,只在意錢,用錢衡量所有事情,卻忘了基本的尊重及禮貌。 我不是常留評論的人,甚至這是第一次我給這麼低的評論 至今過去五天,我仍然沒有得到一句道歉,相信即使看到這篇評論的住宿方,你們依舊會認為不是你們的問題,因為你們總是如此,不會檢討自己。 / Reply from August 5, 2025 I left reviews in three different languages not to deliberately harm this place’s reputation. Let’s be honest, it doesn’t even deserve one. If I truly wanted to destroy their reputation, trust me, I wouldn’t have stopped at just three reviews. I did it because the platform limits how much I can say in a single post, I even had to shorten my original review due to character limits, otherwise I couldn't post this reply. I tried to use simple words to keep the original meaning. Travelers deserve to know just how appalling this place really is. And after reading their response, I’m even more certain that everything I said was true. A place like this? Avoiding it is pure luck. Attached is my booking record and the conversation I had with your staff at the time. I don’t see anywhere that the check-in time was mentioned. To this day, you still insist that you made no mistake, and even act dishonestly by trying to blame me while playing the victim. You didn’t kindly offer a solution free of charge — I refused to pay. At first, you even asked me to pay 20 soles for the tent, but I don’t believe I should take responsibility for your mistake. You’ve hosted hundreds of guests, and I’ve been to hundreds of places, but this is the first time I’ve experienced something like this.

I left reviews in three different languages not to deliberately harm this place’s reputation. Let’s be honest, it doesn’t even deserve one. But travelers deserve to know just how appalling this place really is. And after reading their response, I’m even more certain that everything I said was true.

If I truly wanted to destroy their reputation, trust me, I wouldn’t have stopped at just three reviews. I did it because the platform limits how much I can say in a single post, I even had to shorten my original review due to character limits, otherwise I couldn't post this reply. A place like this? Avoiding it is pure luck.

AVOID this place like the plague — it’s basically a SCAM.

They gave away my CONFIRMED room without telling me, BLAMED me for THEIR mistake, and offered me a DISGUSTING tent in a STORAGE room instead.

The place is FILTHY, the staff is RUDE, and NO ONE takes RESPONSIBILITY.

HANDS DOWN the WORST experience I’ve ever had with a place to stay. Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE.

If you want to experience a disrespectful and irresponsible stay, I highly recommend this accommodation.

I booked via WhatsApp on July 24 for a July 27–31 stay. They confirmed, then ghosted me—no check-in info, no rules, nothing.

I took a Cruz del Sur bus from Lima to Huaraz on July 27, which was scheduled to arrive at 6 PM but was delayed for unknown reasons and only arrived at 9 PM. After a long journey, I just wanted to rest, but the staff kept asking questions and then told me my room had been given away because I was “too late.”

Even when I showed proof of the booking via WhatsApp, they insisted it was my fault for not informing them. But I had no internet on the bus, and they never mentioned any check-in deadline beforehand. I told them all of this, and also pointed out that they never even messaged me to say they had given away the room.

Other guests were prioritized while I stood there ignored. Their “solution”? A filthy tent in a storage lobby.

I offered to pay 10 soles at most, since it wasn’t my fault—they refused, blamed other staff, and told me to leave if I wouldn’t pay.

It was a national holiday weekend. At 11 PM. With nowhere else to go.

Eventually, they put me in a storage room upstairs with a bed, and the next day moved me to a mixed dorm. That dorm’s bathroom was filthy—clearly never cleaned. The girl in the next bed checked out in the morning. A female staff member entered the room around 7 AM while everyone was sleeping, talked loudly on the phone, made the bed without changing the sheets or pillowcases. Half an hour later, a man checked in to that same dirty bed—I doubt he knew.

Before checking out, I tried to contact the staff who originally confirmed my stay, but she never read or replied after two days. I tried speaking to other staff, but again, they deflected responsibility and blamed me for arriving late—even though I was never informed of any rules.

The staff deflected blame, blamed each other, never apologized, and took no responsibility. Even days later, the person who confirmed my booking never replied.

This was my worst experience in Peru—dishonest, irresponsible, and utterly indifferent.

THEY CARE ONLY ABOUT MONEY, NOT PEOPLE.

I’m sure even after reading this, the staff will think it’s not their fault, because that’s just who they are: they never reflect or take...

¡Evita este alojamiento como si fuera una estafa, porque LO ES! Puntuación general: 0/10 — Cancelan reservas sin avisar, humillan a los huéspedes, el lugar está sucio y nadie se hace responsable. Me dejaron sin habitación en la noche, me ofrecieron una carpa mugrienta en un almacén y encima me echaron la culpa. UNA VERGÜENZA.

Don’t act like waiving the charge was some kind of favor. You tried to charge me 20 soles for a filthy tent in a storage room after giving away my room without notice. I refused to pay — because it was your screw-up, not mine.

After hours of travel, I was met with zero empathy. You prioritized other guests, ignored me, and made it clear the only thing you cared about was getting money. You say you’ve hosted hundreds of travelers? Well, I’ve been to hundreds of places — and never have I been treated with such blatant disregard and dishonesty.

Still pretending you did nothing wrong? Still avoiding the truth? Impressive. Truly.

And if you’re running such a “professional” hostel, maybe next time you should at least change the sheets before putting a new guest in the same bed.」

Reservé por WhatsApp el 24 de julio para hospedarme del 27 al 31. Me confirmaron el precio pero luego dejaron de responder. El 26 pregunté si la reserva seguía en pie y dijeron que sí, pero jamás me informaron sobre hora límite ni reglas básicas.

El 27 tomé un bus desde Lima a Huaraz. Debía llegar a las 6 PM, pero se retrasó y llegamos a las 9 PM. Al llegar, el personal me hizo esperar y luego me dijeron que mi habitación ya no estaba disponible “porque llegué tarde”. Mostré la conversación de WhatsApp, pero igual me echaron la culpa. Nunca me informaron que perdería la habitación ni que había una hora límite. La habían entregado a otra persona sin avisarme.

Durante todo este proceso, otros huéspedes seguían llegando y eran atendidos de inmediato, mientras a mí me ignoraban por completo. Siempre daban prioridad a los demás y me dejaban esperando.

Finalmente me ofrecieron una carpa sucia en el lobby, en una zona de almacenamiento, sin privacidad. La habitación costaba 30 soles, la carpa 20. Pedí pagar solo 10 porque el error no era mío, pero se negaron. Dijeron que era culpa de “otro trabajador” y si no me gustaba, buscara otro lugar (a las 11 de la noche, en feriado nacional, con todo lleno).

La carpa estaba sucia, el baño compartido lleno de basura, nadie limpiaba nada. Me pasaron a una especie de bodega con una cama, y al día siguiente a un dormitorio. Vi con mis propios ojos cómo usaban la misma cama sin cambiar sábanas. Nadie se hacía responsable por nada, y todos se culpaban entre sí.

Intenté contactar a quien me confirmó la reserva. Nunca respondió. Hablé con otros empleados y todos decían lo mismo: “no es mi culpa”. Desde el inicio hasta el final, el trato fue pésimo.

Este lugar es irresponsable, sucio, deshonesto y absolutamente irrespetuoso. Solo les interesa el dinero. No les importa el huésped. Ni una disculpa. Ni una explicación. Han pasado cinco días y sigo sin respuesta. Nunca más. Ha sido, sin duda, la peor experiencia que he tenido con un...
