Incredible. We have been eating there 4 times, plus taking breakfast and some drinks. And every single time i have been more then satisfied. The cuisine is divinely good, every elements of the dish is individually processed or cooked, making each dish a rainbow of delicious flavours. Incredible food, from entradas to postres. Keep in mind it may be a bit pricy for peruvian standards (20 to 35 soles for entrance, 30 to 60 soles for main dish, 20 to 30 for desert) but definitely worth the money (especially if you compare with what you get in western countries for the same money). Cocktails are very fresh and creative, but a bit pricy. In a addition to incredible food, the restaurant itself is one of the most cosy place i have been to in Peru. The front is like a little jungle with some balconys, plants, lamps, heaters and cosy tables all arouns you. The main room downstairs is a more traditional classy dining room, but always a very intimate atmosphere. I can see people having all kind of dinners from a romantic date to business meeting to family dinner. The backyard is a very "tropical" little bsckyard, again very intimate and cosy. The first floor has almost a cuban vibe, alot of wood, design elements mixed with a traditional surrounding, very bright with balconies on both sides. Overall a very very good culinary experience that brings you a classy yet very cosy atmosphere, especially comparing to all the other places around Kennedy Park that are either good streetfood, or to rigid...
Read moreThe decor was beautiful, specially, the 2nd floor that looked like a library. Nevertheless, my overall experience was bad. The service was slow. The waiter was rude and said that "he, personally, thought that the chef recommendations were below average". From there the service just went down. Waiter was avoiding us, he brought us the wrong dish. We ask for some pasta with seafood and a pizza. The pizza's dought was pretty good, but the sauce, ham and cheese had no flavor. The pasta was just ok. A couple of shrimps here and there.... personally I wouldn't called it seafood pasta, since there was not much flavor nor seafood. The table next to us was also unsatisfied with the service. They had being waiting too long for a couple of pizzas, water and wine. Overpriced...
Read moreAmore is a very nice decorated restaurant and that caught our attention while walking around the area - if we would ever have to recommend a restaurant close to the Bar Area in Miraflores, it would be Amore!
Spacious, with seating in- and outside and great service.
We ordered the Pizza Rustica (Personal S/37) and a Burrata Salad (S/39) - bothe really delicious! Also try the Sangria (we had half a jar for S/38) which is sweet and fruity in its taste!
We then ordered a personal Pizza Tres Chanchitos (S/39) - we wouldn't recommend or repeat this order, it didn't taste good - we couldnt barely taste the tomato sauce nor the cheese (like in the Pizza Rustica) and the taste of the sausages were too much.
All in all a nice experience and we...
