Cevichería Puro Mar Fusión Nikkei — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

I had a HORRIBLE experience in this restaurant!!! Avoid at all cost. The service is really bad, you literally wait 20 min for them to bring you an olive oil and the bottle has like 4 drops in it… my husband asked for a drink with ice and ended up going himself for the ice because 5 minutes after his soda arrived there was still no ice. And the food was YUCK 🤢. I didn’t even eat half of my plate and we told the waiter that is pretty bad… (we also asked for a bill immediately) after 15 min our bill comes with no “I apologize, nor with let me offer you anything to make up for it?” just pay and go. Very disappointed. I just had dinner there and I hope I'm not ended intoxicated. I ordered the ceviche and causa my two favourite peruvian dishes. The ceviche was good . Big size but the causa was off. I had a spoon and immediately notice a bad taste and smell. This is serious, is seafood/fish that can poison you. I returned the cause and the waiter was very apologetic and sorry about it. A shame because they claim to be very good. Maybe was just an isolated incident but would I come back....

I came here solo after not wanting to wait in line for Punto Azul and I had a good experience.

I ordered a Pisco Sour, a Ceviche de Lenguado (type of Peruvian fish), and the Filete al Encuentro de Mar de Cojinova.

The ceviche was the best part. The pisco sour was good as expected of any Peruvian restaurant. The Encuentro de Mar was alright but I don’t think it’s something I would order again.
