I went to dine with my family for lunch. We got the table fairly quick. We got seated but we did not get the menus and had to ask a lady who was just serving the table next to us. The lady gave us the menus and came back bringing “canchita”. My kids immediately ate the “canchita” as they usually would do at other restaurants. Then they started complaining that it was spicy and their mouths were burning. The lady who was serving didn’t feel any compassion, as she didn’t see my kids really struggling. I asked her to bring me water or “chicha morada”. She told me “ chicha was not sold” , I just didn’t understand why she would not react and get water for my kids. I had an angry face. I just wanted to run to get the water. I got out as she left, and approached her telling her that I would say it straight to her how I was feeling, I told her that she didn’t bring me the water immediately as anyone would expect !! Seeing kids struggling !! She responds telling me she is not a waiter!!! She is just a cashier ( so why was she serving other tables and taking orders ??? Was she acting to be one ?? Then she asked a server if “chicha morada” was being sold! And he responded for sure!!!!!! I looked at her and I asked her that I wanted a waiter, she turns around and asked Edison to be our server. Not at any moment she showed empathy or said sorry !!! I explained my new waiter about what happened. He apologized !!!! For her!!! He tried his best to serve us and brought the drinks immediately. The food “Mondonguito” was just ok. “Pollo a la parrilla “ ok, “Alpaca mini burgers” delicious and Pachamanca rolls were also nice. After my bad experience I would not recommend this place unless they train their servers and wanna-be servers ( cashiers) to be empathetic and serve the customers, especially kids!! Train their staff to INFORM their customers about their “spicy canchita “ not only kid but other people cannot handle spicy stuff !!! At the end as we were leaving the waiters and real servers thanked us and said goodbyes but GENESIS, as expected only a look and she should not belong to...
