CHURROS VIRGEN DEL CARMEN S.A.C — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

This street has a few churro options, with Churros San Francisco being the most famous. It's a fried pastry basically rolled with 3 different options, and Manjar Blanco (Dulce de Leche) being the most popular and definitely my favorite.

The only difference between this and San Francisco, I'd say, is the dough. This one is a bit firmer, while the other is still crispy on the outside but slightly flakier and softer on the inside, and possibly with a bit more salt to balance the flavors and the sugar that's added. Fui a comprar churros por ser su día, la cola como siempre en estos locales es inmensa, estuve haciendo cola por aproximadamente 40 minutos, por ser tarde y era el único abierto, creo que se concentro mucha gente por esa razón, los sabores que tienen son de crema pastelera, manjar blanco y chocolate, una de las cosas que me parece pueden mejorar, es la distribución de su tienda ya que la caja para pagar está ubicada la fondo del local, y justo es donde están las mesas y sillas que los comensales usan causando molestia y al otro lado está el despacho, así que eso es un inconveniente, de su sabor es cosa aparte, son muy buenos y te los entregan calientes, cosa destacable, si volvería a ir a comer sus...
