While the food itself was not the issue, something entirely unacceptable happened during our meal. My mother bit into a large stone hidden in the rice, which struck one of her already sensitive teeth with great force. She was in severe pain and couldn’t eat anything the next day due to the discomfort. This is absolutely inexcusable.

What made the situation even worse was the staff’s response. When we brought this to your attention, instead of offering any apology or taking responsibility, we were met with denial — and shockingly, someone even claimed the stone “came from my mother’s mouth.” Excuse me? Who in their right mind believes a human being could produce a stone in their mouth? That kind of response is not only ridiculous, it’s offensive. Have you completely lost your sense of reason?

I am not asking for compensation. What I demand is a fair and respectful attitude. As a tourist, this experience has deeply affected my impression of the city as a whole. Is that what you want — to turn visitors away with such...

This open air restaurant serves excellent local food for the price. The prices are comparable to what you would get at the food stalls at the Mercado.

The difference is the quality is superior, the presentation is better and the cafe offers table seating with a pleasant street view. In fact this is a short walk from a Kennedy Park. You just have to find it

Wow this little restaurant is an absolute treasure! We had the best time here. This is a small place with local Peruvian food. We took the thrills mix of ceviche, fried squid and Peruvian risotto and all were absolutely amazing! We also ordered the duck with garlic and it was so delicious and filled with flavours. The staff and specifically the manager and his son were so nice and helpful, helped us choose and made our experience so much better. I absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone...
