Legitimately the best pasta I’ve ever had in my life, no exaggeration. I came with a big group, 8 of us total, so we took the opportunity to try a ton of dishes, each taking only a bite or two of each dish, plus a bevy of appetizers and desserts. Comprehensive thoughts below. The service was great—since we were a large party we had a dedicated server, and when they realized some of us only spoke English, they switched servers so we had someone who spoke English. (Some in our party spoke Spanish so we were prepared just to have them relay everything we needed to the servers, but it was nice that they went out of their way to place us with someone that could communicate with all of us.) each dish was served family style, two at a time, with our individual plates replaced with each round of pasta. Definitely a meal that was also an experience!
Now, the food. For appetizers, we split two plates of stracciatella, which was unreasonably delicious and is making my mouth water to even think about it, almost a month later, and the kale salad, which was fresh and very light but savory.
Of the pasta dishes we got, weeks later the ones my group has most raved about are the agnolotti de hongos con mantequilla (recommended by our server—I don’t even like mushrooms, and I enjoyed this dish, plus it was the favorite of several in my group), the tagliatelle con poro caramelizado (the caramelized leeks were amazingly complex in flavor), and the spaghetti con pomodoro confitado (an unexpectedly elevated version of the classic pasta with tomato sauce). The other dishes we got were all absolutely fantastic, too. The one we liked least (and we still liked it a lot!) was the tomatillo con parmigiano reggiano 36 meses y trufa negra, because we thought the 36 month aged parm overwhelmed the flavor of the truffle. The pasta had the perfect texture and was always well-coated in sauce and cheese. We went into the main course thinking the pasta dishes were too small for us to fill up on, but we were stuffed by the end of it. 1 dish per person is definitely the way to go.
We rallied for the desserts since they looked so good, and were so glad we did. I still rave about the tarta de pistachio con crema mascarpone casero—each bite started off just a little salty, then melded into sweetness. I have no idea how they accomplished this feat, and it was crazy delicious. We also got the tarta al cioccolato 70%, the tiramisu, and the tarta de quesos, which was the creamiest cheesecake (or cheesecake-like dish) I’ve ever had in my life. We all loved all of the desserts.
In all, 150% definitely a worthwhile restaurant to go to. I’ll be dreaming about the stracciatella, the caramelized leek pasta, and the pistachio tart for the rest of my life. I’m already planning to visit Miami practically JUST to eat at this restaurant, once the Miami, FL...

Read moreI ordered the parpadelle with a slow cooked ragu sauce. It was so delicious. One of the best pastas I've had in Peru. Also ordered the tiramisu, which tasted really good. Similar to the original Italian tiramisu, which is a flavor you don't really come across here. It was served in a cup though, with many layers and was a bit hard to eat.
The decoration is cool, with some photos on the wall of people making pasta, and some quirky photos mixed in. I really liked the decor along th stairwell, with all the kitchen utensils arranged on the wall to make a fluid shape.
The first floor is way too noisy and packed. We chose to sit in the second floor instead. There was only one bathroom for everyone in the second floor, no men & women bathrooms, so I had to wait a few minutes to use the bathroom.
There was an air conditioner but it was set to 23 degrees celsius, which is way too hot. Especially since they sat us by the window. It was very uncomfortable.
The service was great. The servers were very attentive and...
