Song Peruvian Cuisine Fusion — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

Nicely decorated Chinese restaurant with tasteful menu printouts and thoughtful remodeling details. Staff tried hard to understand us as they struggle to interpret English, but were relatively nice and attentive. Food was mediocre for Asian tastebuds. If you ever had good Sichuan food this is a 4 out of 10. But they do use good ingredients I could tell. It’s just that the taste is off. When we packed our leftover food to go, they gave us paper bags which were stained with oil and sauce instantly.. not sure why they didn’t wrap the lids or just use a plastic bag. Another service detail was: Tea was ordered but not poured until 20min later, which is surprising for a Chinese restaurant as tea is always the first thing on the table, right after you sit down. We ordered 5 dishes: 2 appetizers, 2 mains and 1 noodle, which totaled $450 soles. Considering it’s $120 USD for this quality of food, esp in a place like this which clearly try to be a fine dining restaurant, I’d only give it a 2 star… Also, fine dining? But...

Beautiful and delicious high end Chinese - Peruvian fusion restaurant. The Peruvian contribution in the mix lies mostly in local ingredients, while two chefs brought in from different parts of China offer recipes from Sichuan classics to the iconic Beijing duck. Portions are not huge, but they are remarkably large for a fine dining establishment. Service is top notch, very professional and attentive, but not aloof. The ambience is very nice, both in terms of classy Chinese decor and tables nicely spaced apart from each other. The fine dining element is reflected both in the quality of the ingredients and preparation, as well as in the price. It is expensive, but in my opinion well worth it for an original and memorable...

Regresamos a este restaurante con la esperanza de mejorar nuestra opinión. Hace unas semanas el mozo como un error involuntario nos pasó una cuenta equivocada. No nos dimos cuenta. Pero más tarde nos llama una encargada del restaurante, quien en tono poco agradable y despectivo nos informa del error en la boleta y q debíamos regresar. Regresamos, solo nos esperaba el mozo, muy estresado ya q él tenía q asumir la responsabilidad. Nos acercamos a pagar lo correspondiente pero hicimos el reclamo por la forma como nos trataron por teléfono. El administrador se disculpó y nos invitó nuevamente, registrando el nombre de mi hija para poder mejorar nuestra impresión. Hoy regresamos, mi hija (la q registraron) está de cumpleaños, e incluso nos preguntaron si celebrábamos algo. A lo que no hubo ningún presente o saludo de parte del personal. Y, teniendo en cuenta que dijeron que nos darían una mejor atención al registrar el nombre de mi hija, esperábamos algo más. Ni siquiera tenían postres, solo tugurizacion de platos. Las entradas después del plato principal. Y a la hora de pagar, no nos entregaron la boleta. Obviamente cobraron impuestos y una comisión aparte. Ah y pedí una botella de agua que...
