On our first day in Puno, we decided to try some local cuisine and randomly picked a restaurant to experience roasted guinea pig for the first time. The dish was slightly oily but overall enjoyable. Food was delicious! The rack of alpaca ribs were tender and flavorful, and were complemented with their creamy mashed potatoes. The ceviche de champinoins was fresh and zesty, the sweet potatoes added an extra layer to an already exquisite dish. The chicharon had a delightful crunchy skin. Delicious food, beautiful presentation, and attentive staff. Family ordered the alpaca ribs, chicharon, veggie ceviche, and chicken encrusted with quinoa and chia. All were delicious.
