Huge regret!! I should've taken the bad reviews seriously! Ridiculously small tacos for exorbitant prices. Spent P2700 (almost $50!) for 4 plates of mini bite-sized tacos and a small bowl of nachos.
Taste? Totally not justifiable. Carne asada was seasoned and the beef birria tasted how beef birria should taste like. It had fatty parts mixed in if you like that sorta thing. The lengua wasn't fresh and chewy and for $10, a huge disappointment. They make their own paperthin tortilla resembling a thin crepe that gets soggy with sauce. Would've been happier with store-bought corn tortillas. At least would've taken more than 2 bites to finish a single taco.
Their pico de gallo tasted like watery tomato and not quality tomato either. No zestiness, no hint of fresh parsley. And the kicker, P90 for a very small order of beans.
Then you'll wait an unreasonable amount of time for your food to come out. Sucks if you're dining in a group, you'll finish your little tacos faster than they'll get theirs.
Was this supposed to be a fine-dining experience? Because it's certainly not. Isn't even worthy of being called a taqueria. Or is this place just a bar serving expensive snacks that they hope you'd be too drunk to care? Man, I've had street tacos from a dirty taco truck way better than this in California.
Never again. And now I miss those taco trucks.
Photo of the nachos. I didn't bother taking pics...

Ambiance and interior are a solid 10/10 – the place looks great. Service, however, felt more like a 5/10 for the price point. The staff was attentive at times, but it was difficult to get their attention since they rarely looked around. Maybe it was just me, but it really felt like there wasn’t enough focus.
For cocktails, we had Papa’s Old Fashioned, Tequila Sour, and Cucumber Mojito. The drinks were nice, but for what they charge, I expected more effort in presentation. They didn’t really look premium—more like something from a regular bar rather than a restaurant of this level.
As for the food, it was a bit on the oily side but still enjoyable. We’ve eaten here before and usually liked it, but this time the quality felt different—something was off. The pico de gallo, for instance, tasted like it had vinegar instead of lime, and the smell was really strong, almost like pinakurat. Portions were fine though, since the protein servings were generous.
Overall, I’d give it a 6.5/10 for its price point. It has potential, but it feels like it lacks management oversight and attention to detail. Good food and nice space, but I don’t see myself coming back mainly because of the service and the...
Read moreThe service staff are all awesome! Great, happy, likeable people who work professionally and look smart.
The food however was a total embarrassment. Meal portion sizes are literally smaller than anything I've ever ate, in any country of the world in my life. They are smaller than starters and sadly when we asked "Is this big enough for 2 to share?", and were told, "Yes it's enough for 2 people". It's smaller than the starters we've had eating at fine dining restaurants.
Maybe if we were two 2 year old children perhaps? But this was a MAIN dish, 4 tiny wraps with cheese, and a few tiny cubes of beef inside. If it was just for me alone or my partner, it would have been too small, and totally overpriced at 200 peso, but no... They charged for these 4 little snack bites for an unbelievably overpriced 590php PLUS 41.30php on top of this starter side meal.
Really is unacceptable to charge so much for such a tiny snack which resembles cheese on toast. If it were 200php, I'd feel this meal was overcharged still. Just the most depressing meal we've experienced anywhere in Philippines.
(Purely based on the food,...
