We came here on a Saturday night, thinking why it was a little quiet. Lo and behold, there are a few families dining in, and we wondered why.

Don't get me wrong, the place was very spacious and has an airconditioned place. The staff who assisted us were very polite and helpful, and even offered us free cansi soup. Their food though, was very underwhelming.

We ordered three food items off the menu—sweet and sour fish fillet, crispy kangkong, and cheesy scallops. The best of them was the sweet and sour fish, but the sauce was too sweet we wondered where was the sour. Their Crispy Kangkong, which everyone claims one of their bestsellers, was bland and too oily. The scallops were meh although they give us one big piece and nine small ones.

Was it a good try? I am on the fence on this one. Will I return? Defo not. What has happened to the Imay's that went to the Negros Fair in Glorietta last September of 2024? I don't know. Maybe their bottled delicacies are better than their resto items. Be warned, the price of their food is quite steep...

Was there for lunch with a group of 19 people yesterday. The foods were amazing and the service was really very good. My only concern was when I paid the bill, I was supposed to have a change of around 600 pesos. We were about to leave but still did not get our change back so I ask the server about it and he replied " ay abi ko, keep the change to Ma'm." I believe this was outright wrong, he should have given my change back and I could have tipped them more than that as we normally tip 10% of the bill and more than that if the service is good. I didn't want to embarrass the guy so I did not say anything anymore. Found out later that my friend also left a tip for the servers. This was the first time that I had an incident like this and really left a bad taste...

I learned about Imay's from the two (2) grab drivers I talked to while otw. They recommended me this place (I said other than Inasal) So I tried it out and ordered two (2) dishes.

I had the Cheezy Grilled Scallops, which is an Appetizer for P200. It is sweet and salty and savory! The scallops are cooked perfectly! 👌I LOVED IT! 😊

The Sinigang Mixed Seafood is great as well! I just wish it would be more Sour (personal preference). I wonder if yoi could ask for more of the seasoning used for the Sinigang. Still, a great dish! This dish costs...

Bacolod's resto with fast service (despite the crowd) and with consistent Pinoy taste from seafood to crispy pata to sisig, tinola and more. Their appetizer, Chicharong Kang Kong, is even addicting that you want to order a 2nd plate of it while waiting for the other food stuff you ordered to be delivered. When the resort-themed area is full during peak hours/days, there's an airconditioned room ready at the back that's an alternative space for a big family.
