I'm reviewing to prevent other people from ruining their vacation days spent in Baguio.A word of advice if you are craving for Chowking. Just eat on other branches or other Chinese-Filipino restaurants, there is a variety around Session Rd.
The manager is amicable and is hands-on but you can still see a lot of employees doing everything but what you want.
We went in line first but our order was the last to be dished out from the kitchen relative to the our order when we were lining up. They almost short changed us but that's alright since I read the receipt and it was adressed promptly. Bear in mind, they have online payment issues too.
I followed up for the milktea drinks twice but they said just to come back and get it again. We waited patiently, but we were nearing the end of our meal and the drinks are still not there, so I followed up for the third time. They just made the drinks that time. Not even an apology for the delay.
The employees are just kinda disorganized overall. One employee is doing a lot (of menial tasks lol), and others are just lounging and talking with the chef on the small window through the kitchen. Or scurrying around to eat at the back kitchen. (I inferred this because they just eat chicken and plain rice which is not in the menu and goes to the back subsequently.)
Apparently, chili oil also have charges now if you don't order Chao Fan.
It's fastfood, and I'm not even expecting anything but still, this is pretty bad. I suggest renewing old staff who aren't doing anything, and/or streamlining how they do and recheck orders. Well, I don't need to instruct professionals, they should know already.
If you read this review, bro just go somewhere else. I sure ain't gonna come back. I'm just writing because I had extra tine like all those staff in this branch do lol. Chowking should revamp this location with...

Staff/ Employees are not that friendly and approachable. Please provide enough plates/ bowls/ and utensils for dine-in since we only get to use the take-out bowl for the wonton as our only option. Orders take too long for about 45mins just for 3 wonton noodles only. I follow up my order and find it hard to get their attention. I also find it disrespectful when you're being nice to them but then I was treated like I'm less of a customer. Minor concern; service water is less than half empty. I don't understand why they don't see it almost empty.
After that, we decided to take-out our orders since they don't have a bowl for dine-in and I'm a bit disappointed with my experience here specifically on how I'm treated by the employees. They may be in a bad mood or very tired after a long day of work, but please keep it professional....
Read moreWe visited this place tonight the place is busy, unfortunately one of the staff has taken food orders and may or may have not put the orders to the kitchen that causes chaos... People getting angry due to late foods, wrong items, some even demanded to cancel their orders... Good thing one of the staff miss Mae/May has taken action together with her manager... I my self have waited for a long time but I saw how they manage the error that one person has made who is not present of the time anymore for I don't know reasons... Anyway this review is to give this exemplary service from the two mentioned above... This store has many flaws but due to this kind of people shortcomings are...
