Gerry's - SM Grand Central (Gerry's Grill) — Restaurant in Caloocan

We tried this restaurant once more because my son was craving Sizzling Gambas.  We ordered several dishes, and while there were some hits and misses, the overall experience was ok.

The Crispy Kare Kare had a generous portion size, although the sweetness was not to my liking. Their Sisig was good, though nothing extraordinary. The Kilawing Puso ng Saging was a bit of a letdown as it was bland and tough to chew despite being a vegetable dish.

What truly stood out was the Sizzling Gambas. The serving was generous, and the taste was spot on, making it the highlight of our meal.

However, the service left much to be desired. Despite being the second customers of the day, it took them an hour to serve our order, which was disappointing.

Overall, the improved taste of the food, especially the Sizzling Gambas, made the visit worthwhile. If they could speed up their service, it would enhance the dining experience...

From the moment we arrived until we settled our bill, the service at this restaurant was exceptional. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our dining experience. We appreciated the complimentary chips, which were a thoughtful touch while waiting for our food.

The food itself was absolutely delicious—every dish was well-prepared and flavorful. A special mention goes to the servers and the branch manager, Sir Ren, who went above and beyond to provide excellent service. They were proactive in checking if we needed anything and even offered soup refills for our Bulalo, which was a nice gesture.

I had an excellent dining experience at Gerry's Grill located at SM Grand Central. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and attentively assisted by Manager Ren, whose professionalism and hospitality truly stood out.

The service was seamless—prompt, courteous, and with great attention to detail. Manager Ren made sure everything was perfect, and their team followed through with efficiency and genuine smiles.

As for the food—it was absolutely delicious! Every dish was cooked to perfection, flavorful, and served hot and taste fresh. From the classic sisig to the grilled seafood, everything exceeded our expectations.
