We ate here during Sinulog. Their lunch buffet was priced at 1,000 pesos per head, which is pricier than Vikings or Buffet 101. The lechon wasn’t even tasty—it’s not worth your money at all, I swear. If it’s a buffet, we should be allowed to serve ourselves and take as much food as we want, but they had servers giving us the smallest portions ever. They even told us that soft drinks are limited to one glass per person. Like, what the heck?

The waiting time for food refills wasn’t any better. They should be refilling food immediately, but instead, they had to cook it, which made the waiting time really long. On top of that, the management was bad—they turned off the air conditioning even though it wasn’t time yet. This clearly shows how poorly managed this branch is.

Worst Lechon I should have realised why this place was quiet and without customers when I entered. As this a Lechon place, we ordered Lechon, it was nearly cold, dry, lumps of fat and gristle, the skin was soff and greasy. We tried to take away the food for homeless kids outside, but the guy waiting tables couldn't be bothered to pack it up, just left us sitting, but we'd already paid , they got the money, so ' who cares? ' When we went downstairs there were five staff members and manager, so I don't know why they don't give attention to paying customers? I commented to the manager about how bad the food was, he just seemed surprised, so I guess other people are too polite to complain. They just don't come back, which explains why this branch is usually very quiet...

Wow! Ayer's Lechon is a gem that keeps impressing me more with each visit. The regular lechon, spicy lechon, paksiw, and even the kimchi are all mouthwateringly delicious. This restaurant offers crazy good food at affordable prices, making it one of the best-kept secrets in the city.
