CK Cebu Colonnade — Restaurant in Cebu City

I had given a wonderful review 6years ago, what happened now?

I was hurrying up my grocery shopping for I could a horse, after that we went directly to our chowking as it is right beside the Colonnade or should I say with in. I was easily disappointed by how chowking’s customer service. Unlikely before, staffs were accommodating.

The attendant who took our order, her name was Unice, no smiles, no greeting, nothing at all…when she spoke to us asking what’s our order, I was still asking my partner what he wants, but when I faced Unice she was already processing online orders on the other till, w/o excusing herself, though she made it quick but still at the that she was finishing I was already ready to order. We ordered meals and a medium halo-halo, Unice never asked if we would like it to be served on a later time, however she prepped it first! So while we were dining the halo-halo was melting, ice cream melting and it was overflowing. Our Halo-halo was making a mess on our table! Then our drinks, a quarter full of the glass, no explanation, no information as to why. I asked and she said “medium size man gud sir, nya wala nami” I was baffled as to what was medium sized? The glass or our drinks?

All the while talking to her, her face was apathetic, no enthusiasm and no interest at all. Girl! Then resign!

Even if I liked the braised beef of chowking, I wasn’t happy with my meal!

Please do train your staffs with courtesy and proper...

Bagong reopen pa lang store nyo dito sa may collonade di po ba? gusto ko lang share experience ko. first, pumila ako sa 1 of the 3 counters na available, kasi ang isa walang cashier... 3 kami na nakapila sa linya ng counter na yon.. nung nag open ang isang counter next sa pinipilahan namin dahil may cashier na dumating... timing din na may bagong pumila na customer sa likod ko, when all of a sudden mas inuna pang tawagin ng cashier ng bagong open na counter ang kararating lng na customer kesa sa amin na nakapila.. Wow kung ikaw yong kararating lang na customer i'm sure masaya ka di ba? How about isa ka sa mga nakapila at gutom na tumatayo para maghintay na makaorder at nagpapasensya dahil akala mo... (inspite sa napakadaming mga negative na feedback about services at cleanliness ng #chowking ) at dahil new open nga at mukhang moderno ang store dito, ay NAIIBA ito... Ano feeling mo? Feel mo c cashier? C new customer? Or hindi mo kami feel na mga nakapila?

Chicken with pancit canton na lang inorder ko para mas madali lang din ang serving... Wala nang iba... Then... Umakyat na ako after na nagtimpi at gigil sa cashier (na vinedeo ko na lang in secret.. I dunno if napansin nya..para maipalabas ang inis ko dahil sa gutom) dala dala ko ang number 28. Umupo sa may bandang dulo..dahil wala pa masyadong tao, nakapili ako ng gusto kong upuan.. Waiting.. Hanggang sa unti unti may mga dumadaring na bagong customer na waiting din.. Hanggang sa tagal na waiting na yon, may napansin akong bago lang nakaupo na mga customer...parang pamilya sila at dami orders... Pero aba!! ang dali ng waiting nila. Maya maya lang sinerve na yong mga orders nila pero ako na iisa lang order eh wala pa.. Napalingon ako sa kaliwa dahil may tumaas na boses coming from a customer na nag follow up ng order nila saying "hapit na 20minutes dong oh.. Wa pa amo order.. Abi nako 15minutes lang waiting time ninyo!!!" all of a sudden again.. Gigil na naman ako... Mas nauna pa ako sa mga ito eh!!! Chineck ko yong mga oders nong isang pamilya maliban sa andaming orders nila eh may chicken at canton din naman sa mga orders nila... Meaning walang rason na di pa maseserve ang nag iisa kong order di ba? Napaka SPECIAL naman ng order ko.. Ano kaibahan sa iisang order ko (na mas nauna pa) at sa marami at mix na orders ng kabila (na mas nahuli pa sa pag oder)...Ano sa palagay mo kung ikaw ang nasa sitwasyon ko? Anong gagawin mo? Whew!!!...

As expected, chowking has great foods. Everytime we dine in here we always order the pork chow fan plus halo-halo. But tonight, we ordered the combo 1 which is a promo maybe for this month of February only. Combo 1 consists of 1 pork chow fan meal w/ toppings of your choice, 1 fried chicken meal with canton, 1 siomai, 1 buchi and chicharon and 2 drinks. We also had 2 halo-halo because my daughter loves it 💜 Because it's valentines day, we waited for 30mins. before our order arrived. But it's okay. It's...
