the location is a one-minute walk from my review center, so I decided to grab lunch here after my class. Initially, I mistook it for a bar lounge due to its black and industrial interior, but upon discovering on Google Maps that it is a restaurant, I decided to give it a try today. a hidden gem that’s making waves with its bold, elegant, and industrial aesthetic. from the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a sleek, minimalist design, exposed steel beams, and blackened wood give the space a raw, urban vibe, while subtle lighting adds a touch of warmth that prevents it from feeling too stark.
Service is attentive and not intrusive, with staff who are well-versed in the menu. while they offer a variety of dishes, some of them contain pork, which I avoid, so I missed out on trying their popular dish. I choose to order the shrimp gambas and the bibimbap from them.
what made this shrimp gambas particularly memorable was the attention to texture—the shrimp were soft and juicy, with a slight crunch on the outer parts. At first, it was supposed to come with crusty bread, but they informed me it was unavailable, so I ended up having it with rice instead, which was perfectly fine with me. A delightful blend of bold tastes and comforting simplicity made it a great option for seafood lovers. the dish invited you to mop up every last drop of that glorious sauce, making it as much about the experience as it was about the flavors. It’s a dish that’s both satisfying and full of character, capturing the essence of classic spanish cuisine with a touch of modern flair.
the beef bibimbap was a flavorful experience that left a lasting impression. Served in a bowl, the dish was a visual feast with its array of colorful ingredients artfully arranged on top of the rice. the star of the dish, the marinated beef, was tender and juicy. each bite of the beef was enhanced by the depth of its marinade.
each vegetable added its unique texture and flavor to the dish, creating a delightful contrast with the rich beef. the dish was topped off with a perfectly fried egg, its runny yolk cascading down into the bowl when mixed, enriching the rice and bringing all the ingredients together. this bibimbap was a true comfort food experience, offering a satisfying blend of flavors.
overall, spot is ideal for those who value both style and substance, meticulously designed to offer a memorable dining experience. Whether you are dining casually or celebrating a special event, this restaurant excels in all...
Read moreIlaputi is a great spot for a chill and comfortable dining experience. The place itself is really cool, strong air conditioning, cozy ambiance, and very comfortable tables and chairs. When we came in around dinner time, it was fairly quiet, but by 7 PM, it started filling up fast with groups which is a good sign that this place is well-loved.
The staff were all welcoming and friendly, which added a nice touch to the overall vibe. We got to try one of their new menu items, the SouthSide Rib, and it was absolutely amazing. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender and literally melted in our mouths, definitely a standout dish!
We originally wanted to try their Char Siu Belly, but it was unavailable at the time (they ran out of pork belly). No worries though. We went for their best seller, The Stroganov, instead, and we were not disappointed. Super creamy and flavorful! We also tried their Pasta Puti, Ilaputi’s own take on carbonara, and it was another hit. The creamy sauce, crispy bacon, and big chunks of mushrooms worked perfectly together.
As for drinks, we had the lemonade and iced tea. They were refreshing but nothing particularly special. Prices here are definitely on the more expensive side, but for the quality of food and service, it feels justifiable.
All in all, Ilaputi delivers great food, a relaxing space, and excellent service. Perfect for a laid-back dinner with solid flavor and comfort food done right. We'll definitely be back...
Read moreThe Escario Vibo branch is a Disgrace, and NO it is not the food. The Waitress' are, if you don't mind me saying 'mata-pobre' We came in to order and we got ignored when we passed by a waitress and we waited to get a menu sitting on the table at the end of the room for 10 mins. We didn't get one. I decided to get the menu myself, got back to our table and looked into the menu, we wanted to order 4 dishes, 2 great plates and 2 puti pastas. And then we waited, and waited for a good 10 minutes, still, No waitress, nobody checked if we had our orders straight. Finally saw one pass by on our view and raised my hand but she had her back turned the whole time. I said OK I'll call out and as I tried to, a group came in with plain clothes and a "rich people" aura, and not a seconds hesitation, they receive a menu on their hands before they could even sit down, I felt so undervalued and insulted as a customer of a restaurant I once had a good experience with before on their I.T park branch, to me, this was insulting. So to sumarize it all, the experience, calling it a Disgrace would be an...
