Señor Kimchi — Restaurant in Cebu City

Senor Kimchi is in an extremely competitive food and beverage space. It’s a saturated market filled with experienced players that have been in the Mexican-inspired Restaurant business for a long time.

I’ve been to this joint in Vibo a number of times at different times of the day as well (lunch and dinner). Meals being offered are generally affordable. But it needs an “X factor” dish that would make it standout.

Service crew need to show enthusiasm. Placing the food on one side of the table half heartedly isn’t quite acceptable. Ambiance: music was kinda off as well. Just a bunch of hip hop mixes stringed up randomly.

Love the Mexican-Korean fusion concept. I’m pescatarian so I can enjoy the beer battered fish dishes; I’ve tried the tacos and burrito. But I prefer to eat mostly vegetarian and there are only a couple of things on the menu that are vegetarian. The KFC Korean Fried Cauliflower is one of those options and it is AWESOME. The fish tacos were quite good. The burrito was so/so. What really made both dishes is their salsa, which is a zingy Korean fusion salsa that is the star of this place. Their Foodpanda prices are a scam! They add a whole 25% to the actual menu item! The point of foodpanda is to increase the number of possible customers by offering delivery via an online platform. Of course, the restaurant needs to pay extra for this form of marketing. Why should the customer have to pay the whole fee?? I can understand maybe adding 5-10% at most. But wow the whole 25% is just a complete scam.
