La Bella Pizza Bistro — Restaurant in Cebu City

Excellent, all around. Small, charming, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, excellent food, can't ask for much better. Here's what I tried:

Spaghetti with meatballs - at first, I was skeptical because it looked a little dry and the meatballs looked overcooked and dry, but I was pleasantly wrong. Spaghetti was al dente, as it should be, and the meatballs were crispy on the outside, and tender in the middle. Delicious!

Pizza salamino piccante(pepperoni) - hand-tossed, cooked in a wood-fire brick oven. Nice char on the crust, quality toppings, overall very enjoyable. A lot of grease on top, which is usually caused by the top of mozzarella used, but it didn't affect the overall taste. The homemade dough was delicious.

Mozzarella sticks - nice crispy breading, cheesy inside, served with a delicious marinara.

Lasagna bolognese - my least favorite item, but it was good. Made with spinach noodles, bechamel, bolognese sauce and Mozzarella. It was good but I felt it was lacking something. I couldn't figure out what was bothering me about it, but it was good.

Overall, if I was local, I would eat here regularly. The staff were friendly and answered all my questions, and it was a very enjoyable meal. I usually like to meet the owners of places like this, but they have another restaurant elsewhere. This comes close in terms of quality to places like Gino's in Manila and Amore Mio...

Was looking for a taxi to go to Ayala to eat. Could not find one, so I roamed around & found that place. Dude this is sick, the pizza are wood-fired, I was living in Cebu and I could not find any good pizzeria, I mean really once you know? Like the one we have in Europe - Italia. And Here just turning around a corner, I found it. The best pizza i've eat in the Philippines so far. Took a Meat deluxe, all the products were good, the raw ham looked like the one we have in Europe. My review is for the branch at the Domestic side of the Mactan International Airport.

We arrived super early for our flight back to Manila so we had lots of time to kill. I was afraid that the domestic waiting area would have crappy food places but when I tried La Bella here, I was pleasantly surprise. They served me an unforgettable Arrabiata!
