Alright I just returned here I have only been here twice and this is my third time, the last one was during my birthday and that was like 5 or 6 years ago.
Today we ordered Laksa which is my absolute new favorite, I just love it. The Puso shreddings are just tender but still fresh, I like that it’s creamy because of the coco milk.
But it has a hint of tanginess it must be the lemon, but it was heaven. And it went perfectly with the hot steamed rice.
The Pansit Palabok was also a surprise, the ingredients are just spot on, not your typical Palabok, not too much salt, I like that it has balanced taste of saltiness, sweet and creamy and the crunch of the pork grind. And the noodles were fantastically good.
We also had Baked Scallop and it was just pure loveliness, fresh fresh fresh scallops, you can definitely taste it, it’s sweet, tender not mushy. And they had a lovely helpings of Guso Salad.
And I tell you what you should try their Buko Salad, I won’t tell you why it is weirdly good, but try it, because there is a big surprise.
5 Stars for Laguna Garden Cafe, did not fail me after 6 years of wanting to come...
Read moreLaguna Garden Café, located at Level 1 of The Terraces in Ayala Center Cebu, has been a favorite dining spot of mine for years. The restaurant offers a wide array of Filipino dishes that consistently satisfy my cravings for local cuisine.
The ambiance is inviting, making it an ideal place for family gatherings and special occasions. We celebrated my mother-in-law birthday here, and the staff surprised us with a cheerful birthday song, adding a personal touch to our experience. No corkage fee for the Cake we bought from outside the resto.
However, during peak hours, I've noticed that the service can be a bit slow, with dishes taking longer to arrive than expected. Despite this, the quality of the food remains excellent, and the prices are reasonable, making it worth the wait.
Overall, Laguna Garden Café continues to be my go-to place for authentic Filipino flavors in Cebu City. The combination of delicious food and a warm atmosphere keeps me coming...

Oven Baked Cheesy Scallops were good. Like at most places, you taste the cheese much more than the scallop.
Grilled squid was the most disappointing dish for me. The filling inside was mostly raw onion. The squid was a little tough and didn't have much flavor. I like when places coat it in a mild sweet sauce, but this one was dry.
Pinakbet was pretty good.
The chicken and pork adobo was very good. Meat was extremely tender and flavorful. It was by far the best dish I had here.
Mango and pineapple shake were both ok, though I probably wouldn't order them again.
Overall a good place. Would go back again and try...
