Good food and excellent service. The scallop poppers were appetizing and the subtle heat from the spicy mayo made the food more inviting. The cheese gyozas were the best gyozas ive ever had so far. The chashu ramen was divine. Its broth was flavorful and the noodles were perfectly chewy. The pork was melt-in-your-mouth tender and I can only imagine how long it took them to cook the pork to be that soft. The stone pot rice was exquisite and was mixed tableside. Perfectly seasoned and they didn’t skimp on the beef. The rolls were so good too. We ended our meal with the mochi and they were soft and sweet and pairs perfectly with their tea. //if I had to nitpick though, there was a bit of butane taste in the salmon aburi which im guessing is from the blowtorch but other than that, it’s all good// The servers were very attentive and I loved their attention to detail. Even when they weren’t the one assigned to our table, they still knew our orders. We asked for a refill for our service water and they brought us a whole pitcher. By the end of our meal, we asked about their tea because we liked it and they gave us a whole teapot. Also, I’d like to give thanks and a special shoutout to Miss Anne for being the best server we’ve had. Overall this was a very pleasant experience and we plan on coming again to try more of their food.

Had lunch here last week and here’s my take: Place: 10/10 Neat decor 👍🏼 Their tableware is up to par. It really gives you that Japanese dining feels 👍🏼 Their air conditioning system was a bit too low and was not properly monitored. Not good if you dined with kids or elderly 👎🏼 Service: 9/10 Ordered after 1 pm. It was a bit slow at that time. The manager even asked if there’s anything else we need 👍🏼 Waited 10-15 minutes for the bill to be served 👎🏼 We ended up cancelling the Jasmine Tea but this was not forwarded to the registry 👎🏼 Food: 9/10 The complimentary tea was so delicious. It’s refillable too 👍🏼 The taste was great 👍🏼 The serving was a bit too small 👎🏼 Food came after 30 minutes. They said it would be within 15-20 minute mark 👎🏼 Price: Ranges 100-500 PHP per order. Not bad 😁 VERDICT: It’s was a good experience. Will come again for their ramen, maki and the drinks 🤤😁

This restaurant is located at Ayala Mall in Cebu City. This place is clean and this place looks hip. I was craving some Japanese food and wanted some ramen especially how much rain was coming down and was feeling under the weather. I thought what better than some spicy ramen to fix this cold. I ordered Spicy Miso Ramen, Chicken Karaage, and King Dragon Maki. They were fast with the tea which was awesome and food came at a good time. The spicy miso ramen was delicious and hit the spot. The Chicken Karaage was good and what I was looking for. The King Dragon Maki sushi was okay. I would pass on the sushi. The people were friendly and atmosphere was good and good place to come for lunch or dinner and good place for a date. Would I come back here is a yes. I would like to try the other dishes and some of the dishes look awesome from the other tables I was seeing.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Watami's Japanese Foods, and I cannot express how thrilled I am with the dining experience, thanks in large part to the exceptional service provided by Ann. From the moment my party and I were seated, Ann made us feel incredibly welcome, and her attentiveness and professionalism throughout the meal enhanced our overall experience.

Ann's knowledge of the menu was impressive, and her recommendations were spot on. Her friendly demeanor and willingness to accommodate our requests made the dining experience all the more enjoyable. She went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our meal was flawless, and her genuine warmth and enthusiasm truly set the tone for a memorable evening.

Of course, the real star of the show was the incredible Japanese food served at Watami's. The quality and freshness of the ingredients were unquestionable, and each dish was beautifully presented. From the sizzling hot plates of teppanyaki to the delicate flavors of the sushi and sashimi, every bite was an absolute delight. The attention to detail in the preparation and presentation of the food was evident, and it was clear that the chefs at Watami's take great pride in their craft.

The menu boasted an impressive selection of traditional and contemporary Japanese dishes, each one offering a unique and delightful combination of flavors. Whether it was the rich umami of the miso soup, the perfectly seasoned tempura, or the bold, savory notes of the teriyaki, every dish was a testament to the culinary expertise of the kitchen staff.

The ambiance of the restaurant was also noteworthy, with its inviting decor and comfortable seating. The vibrant yet cozy atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop for a fantastic meal and added to the overall enjoyment of the dining experience.

In summary, my experience at Watami's Japanese Foods was nothing short of outstanding, and I have Ann to thank for her exceptional service. Her professionalism, attentiveness, and charm elevated the entire dining experience, and I am truly grateful for her hospitality. The quality and variety of the Japanese cuisine served at Watami's exceeded my expectations and left a lasting impression. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an authentic taste of Japan served with warmth and hospitality. I look forward to returning to Watami's in the near future for another unforgettable...
