Oh Georg! — Restaurant in Cebu City

This was my first visit to this establishment to have coffee with a friend. I ordered a small Cafe Mocha and requested it in a preferred paper cup instead of a ceramic cup. Upon arrival of my beverage, I noticed it felt very light, even for a small cup. I popped off the lid to discover my drink was only 3/4 full with significant room for more coffee. I summoned one of the employees and let her see the cup and requested that the cup be made full. She offered me some water to top it off which I said was not acceptable as I was paying for coffee. She said something to me which I unfortunately couldn't hear or understand, but went to go talk to someone behind the counter where they prep food and drinks. When she came back, it was clear to me that they were not going to fix my drink. At this point, I was frustrated and didn't want to become angry with her, so I acquiesced and decided not to "pick a fight." I was surprised at their unwillingness to correct the serving and/or provide good customer service. I will never return as their are too many other options...

We were second on the wait-list. I even had to arrange my own chair in their waiting area because it was no place for waiting when the chairs were still stacked. We saw that there was a vacant table already, but the crew did not bother to call anyone from the wait-list to occupy it. At last we were called to seat at the table we were eyeing for the the last 30 minutes. Raised my hand to order, a crew in orange polo shirt saw me, but did not bother to go to our table. Raised my hand again like an eager student who knew the correct answer, but nobody from the crew bothered. Until a crew in a white polo short PASSED by our table, to whom I asked "Who will take our orders?" She took our orders like she had no choice.

As a mother of 3, I really took my time writing this review because it's a sad thing watching a resto not being able to maintain their reputation. Please train your crew very...

VEGETARIAN/VEGAN ITEMS: Great Veggie burger, salads, and some powerbowls. Items on menu are labeled for vegetarian, lactose intolerance, and spicy food items. The veggie burger, coconut curry, and the veggie chili are the items I've tried. Overall the best was the burger.

DISHES TRIED: Veggie Burger (really good) Coconut Curry Veg chili bowl

ATMOSPHERE: 5/10 Chairs are comfy on the bottom floor of Ayala so nothing spectacularly. But overall the food is the reason to come here.

DELICIOUS/CREATIVITY: 6/10 This is a great place to come for an assured veggie meal. Nothing on the menu is to over the top tasty or seasoned as far as vegetarian goes but it's one of the only places in Ayala outside of Perian Palace.
