This location is completely biased to tourists that aren't Filipino. We had horrible service here and majority in our party are Canadian born Filipino. No one greeted us, or sat us at a table. We did that ourselves.
They have korean style call buttons on the tables to flag waiters. Even though I pressed it, no one came and they just erased our table number. I had to wave my hand to flag someone.
We ordered 1x melon shake which came within 5 minutes, along with 1x buko, 1x sprite, 1x bottle of water and 1x banana shake. Buko came after 10 minutes and the rest came after 15 minutes. Other tables around us were seated after but received their complete order before we even got all our drinks.
Food is a 4/5 but also took a very long time. The ribs we ordered came before the pancit bihon. We ordered a 2nd banana shake and had to remind them of the order after waiting for 15 minutes. We saw the person running the bar/drinks leave his station with no shake in sight which triggered us to ask for it again.
No running water but there is a hand washing station with a bucket of water.
Our bill came to 2718 pisos. We had 2 senior citizens with us who are also resident of the Philippines. This restaurant refused them of their right to a discount on their bill.
This restaurant gets 1 star. You cannot treat people like that. Their saving grace...
Read moreSo we have figured out that the Filipinos don't give huge portions so we ordered two mains and a side..... Mistake, these guys serve big portions!
I had the noodles, veg and sea food which was a light flavour dish but a lot of it. The only thing that let it down was there was only about 3 shrimp and loads of squid. (But that is partly a personal choice so i won't be marking them down for that)
My boyfriend had the half ribs which came with home made fries & then ordered the chilli cheese fries. - these are NOT cheese fries with chilli on top!! They are full chillies with cheese and bread crumbs.. when i found this out i didn't eat them but he did and really loved them!! Said the ribs were a great choice too.
They have a good menu on offer and a great selection of drinks and shakes too!
Lovely staff here and the pricing is about the same round the area, we had 1lt bottle of water for 65piso as well.
There are little booths you can sit in but you sit on the floor and we were too hot for this so we sat in the main area and ate. There is no aircon but there are fans all around.
I didn't see any toilets but there was a little sink where you can...
Read moreWe went there on a Sunday night around 7, and there were still some empty seats inside. I really liked the private space that they gave us; when we ordered, we just needed to press the button on the table’s edge for the waiter to come over. The only drawback was that you have to sit cross-legged, so it might not be suitable for everyone.
We asked the waiter about their specialties, which were BBQ and baby back ribs. Don’t underestimate the portions here; my mom and I ordered half a portion of baby back ribs, a Bulalo beef bone soup, and a plate of stir-fried kangkong, and we still couldn’t finish everything. We thought ordering some meat, soup, and a dish wouldn’t be that much, but the Bulalo soup portion exceeded our expectations. The amount of beef bones was generous, with plenty of tender beef tendon and meat, and the accompaniments were flavorful, and the soup was delicious! The grilled ribs tasted great too, and the meat was tender enough to easily fall off the bone with a fork. The stir-fried dish was also delicious, slightly spicy and a rare leafy vegetable.
The prices were also very reasonable; this meal was really a...
