Poor service. The server cared more about the tv and her phone then tending to us. Sucks for her because we tip big. We sat for about an hour and she never came by our table. I had to track her down for the check and she didn't even hand it to me, the bus boy did. The food is very inexpensive because they give you about a spoonful of it. We came here because it looked busy and had a local fare type menu. Sometimes places like this are big hits. This one was not. The chicken adobo was minced bits of scrap chicken with no taste at all. The curry was so watered down you could barely taste it. Had some tuna rolls which were OK. 2 days later I came down with a bad illness. I can't say for sure if it was from here but I'm suspecting it was. Stomach cramps lasted well into the rest of the week. I would avoid this place as a tourist. I hate giving small local places bad reviews because I hate to disturb someone's livelihood who is much less fortunate than myself, however this is a warning to travelers.
Edit** I just scrolled through other review/pictures and ours did NOT look like that. Maybe the chef is inconsistent or maybe they don't like Americans, idk. We were literally fed what looked like scraps with no seasoning whatsoever. I wish I...
Read moreWent there for a snack in the evening and ordered the 4 seasons fruit shake without extra added sugar and the Tuna Sandwich. Unfortunately the shake was made with so much sugar we couldn‘t even drink it. When we told the waitress she explained to us that it would be only milk which makes the shake that sweet and gave it back to us. The fries were soaked in old frying oil. The Sandwich was okay. Next day we thought we could give it another try but once again we got disappointed. We ordered the grilled fish and mixed vegetables. After one hour the vegetables arrived. And about 45 minutes later so almost 2 hours we got the fish and the rice. First dish was of course cold at that moment. People who came 30 minutes later than us already finished their meal while we were still waiting. To be fair, the fish was okay. Really cheap but you get what you pay for. Last...
Read more*Don’t go for the food or expect friendly service, but DO drop in for the coconut rum.
The servers seemed inconvenienced by our presence. They weren’t friendly, but at least they turned the fans on for us.
We went there twice. The first time for food and drinks. We got the appetizer sampler and it was terrible. Fried leaves that taste like nothing, calamari that was like eating tire rubber, spring rolls with carrots and peas (that didn’t seem fresh) which is just weird, and the cheese sticks were okay. Our entrees took forever to arrive (fresh fish and chicken) and were also just average.
However, the coconut rum was GREAT. It was the only reason we went back the next day. Fresh coconuts with ice and 2 shots of...
