No question with the food taste. It is my first time in BCD and my auntie and cousins brought me here saying their food is really good. 530PM, just their resto is opening and we were there. Had our table and ordered. The guy said it will be 25-30mins and I said OK. 3-5mins had passed and there are people coming in too and within 10 mins the whole resto was occupied, just in time for dinner. After 5 mins, the oldies who are infront and at the side of our table got their orders already. Us, well don't even have anything to do. It's been 20mins already. Then the guy came to us, told us that there is no 500g for tuna panga and is out of stock. But there is a 300g. My aunt said OK and we will take 2. Other than the Tuna Panga that we ordered, we also requested for Bulalo, Manok Paa Inasal and Spare Ribs/Porkchop whatever. Few mins and still nothing. No plates, spoons or forks or even water, no nothing. My cousin had to do a follow up to have the other food served since we have a toddler with us and is surely hungry. All of the people inside the resto is eating and even the other table BILLED OUT and yet we still don't have anything on our table. I was frustrated, maybe because Im hungry already lol but I can't really make a scene there. My cousin had to do a follow again and that's when they served the not so hot Bulalo and the inihaws. Still no Tuna Panga in sight. We started eating and that's a total of 1hr wasted time and Idk why while people are eating already around us and with the same orders.
Tip. Please make sure your waiters know what is in stock and what is not. They just take people's order and it's not in your inventory or not available and will cause delay like what happened to us.
Good taste but not a good experience. And oh, they served our 1 pitcher of Pepsi after how many follow ups just before we could finish our food. Aaahhhh...

Read moreWe had a quick visit in Davao. When asked where to eat, the wife of my husband’s brother immediately replied, “Penong’s!” We were hesitant at first as we do not know the place. We ordered Tuna panga and Isol (chicken). And these were very delicious! My husband and I really used our hands while eating as we became very excited. So after our return from Samal Island, we again went back to eat here. We ordered kangkong and barbecue. This place never failed our tastebuds. I must say, when in Davao, this food place is a must-try! Food prices are very affordable and the place is...
