Shakey's — Restaurant in Dumaguete

We waited 10mins outside just for the staff to entertain us. We were given menus and then they decided to take our orders while still standing outside. After that, the staff said that we have to wait for 15min for the "people" who made reservations prior to us. I mean 15min just to know whether we can get a table or not?. (Note: there were 4 clean tables and no one was waiting outside except us) What kind of service is that. They weren't even calling names or number queues. They were just looking side to side if those people were waiting and yet they have the audacity to charge for their service. BAD SERVICE! EXPENSIVE FOOD! MOST FOODS WERE UNAVAILABLE!

BETTER GO TO MOOON CAFE OR GREENWICH.

We dined at Shakey's earlier and they accommodated us well. The waitress was very knowledgeable and patient. We ordered bunch of lunch and it was quickly served. Mojos is an all-time fave! What I appreciate with Shakey's the most is their staff's courtesy, especially the manager. My mom had a sudden onset of vertigo, we requested to change tables so she can rest her head on the back of a chair. The manager assisted us pronto and (without being asked to) gave my mom a glass of warm water with lemon to help relieve her pain. He even checked on her again and asked how she was feeling. need more improvements! chicken gravy and salad dressing served late. staff were unorganized. management should hire more manpower. and train their staff back to square one. food taste good though, however if you plan to dine here, make sure your stomach is full or patient enough to wait atleast 30mins-1 hour, or else you will get frustrated by its bad service. To admin, delete your cellphone numbers posted from your fb page, you don't know how to reply inquiries.
