Miro Beach Club — Restaurant in El Nido

Sat on the beach bed and was told it was 2000 consumable, was forced to pay in advance before even getting the food served. I didn’t have cash so I had to give a card as a deposit. when I asked for the bill to check how much we consumed already, I was given back my card saying it wasn’t working. Mind you, I have not asked them to swipe my card. I just simply asked for the bill. I just gave my other card after being told that the first one might have been over limit on a defense reflex 😂. But by surprise, my card was swiped with 2000 pesos without asking us if we would like to order anything else to maximize the amount we are asked to spend. I would’ve expected a heads up that we didn’t consume what we are about to pay and could’ve ordered another drink before being charged. I recently tried this beachfront resto bar at Vanilla Beach, while the view and ambiance were amazing, the food itself was just average.

Out of everything I ordered, the Spicy Shrimp Popcorn was the only dish I really enjoyed. It had good flavor and just the right amount of spice. However, the Fish and Chips were nothing special—just a standard dish without anything that made it stand out. The Rainbow Roll had a decent flavor, but the sushi rice was disappointing. It wasn’t Japanese rice, and the texture was too soft and sticky (malata), which took away from the overall experience.

Staff dont know whats on menu.. they bill out us without asking We feel discriminated because were locals..it happen jan 8 2025 around 730pm..maganda sana ang place but the staff are lazy to the point na kinalimutan un 2nd order na pilsen ng husband ko When they present the bill thats the time na sinabi nila na last order n daw kase 830pm na.. i feel pity sa owner.
