Bad service and FOOD POISONING.

We ordered nachos and they were stale, not even crunchy anymore and tasted like they’d been in the bowl for a day and a night. Plus the guacamole is served aside on a ridiculously small cup and the nacho plate itself has cheese and meat which is not stated on the menu.

I am vegetarian so I ordered quesadillas, but they were unavailable because ‘they ran out of cheese’, but somehow there were 2 kinds of cheese on the nachos. My friend ordered a birria taco and that came with loads of cheese, even though tacos traditionally don’t have cheese. I asked the waitress how come you can’t make quesadillas? She again replied they ran out of cheese. Perhaps it’s a language barrier. I pointed at my friend’s birria tacos and asked if they could make the mushroom tacos they offered but with cheese. She said that’d be an additional fee, i accepted, and the tacos came without cheese.

As we were leaving, the waiter approached the next table like ‘quesadilla for you?’

The next day we woke up with terrible food poisoning that...

Went there for lunch. Nachos were okay, nothis special. The guacamole is Amazing! The melted cheese not so much.

Birria tacos OUTSTANDING. Pork quesadilla good Fish taco, bad, was dry and did not tast fish at all. Chicken taco was tasty Pranws taco okay, too much sour cream

Also they put jalapeno in anything.

Before coming here you need to understand something. They “THINK” mexican food is ALL spicy so they will put chili in EVERY dish. My gf do not enjoy spicy food as much I do, so I ordered for here some dishes that in the menu are marked as non spicy. They were spicy anyway and when we asked why, the waiter said more or less this “the chef and owner likes mexican food spicy and every mexican dish is spicy, so you know already that if you eat mexican will be spicy” After that she also said that “usually” she inform the costumer that every dish is spicy but today she forgot. (Did she offer to replace my gf dish with something not spicy? NO )

So if you don’t like spicy food,...

The service was great! I think the owner was there as well with her staff.

They didn't really have a greeting like the other places down the street but I guess that's because they're pretty packed. When we got up there was only 1 table left. We stayed here for an hour or so during an early evening happy hour crawl and ordered the Churros and a potato dish that bacon, sour cream and some sort of salsa. and a couple of cocktails The food was delicious and the portions very generous. I was surprised but the churros because the pictures on the menu/signs made me think it would be smaller but I was pleasantly surprised. It was freshly fried, used real cocoa for the dip ( as far as my drunk ass could taste)

Only think that bothered me was that the water went off in the bathroom I could still wash my hands and flush thanks to a drum of water and a pain inside. I told the wait staff and I think they did something...

While passing by Patron Mexican Restobar, we decided to stop for a drink as we noticed Amaretto Sours were on happy hour. This turned out to be an excellent decision. The drinks arrived quickly and were exceptionally delicious, surpassing our expectations. Impressed by the drinks, we decided to order a quesadilla. It was served promptly and was equally delicious. The service was quick, with staff being both polite and attentive, contributing to a pleasant dining experience. If you are in the area, I highly recommend giving Patron Mexican Restobar a try. The combination of tasty drinks, delicious food, and excellent service makes it a worthwhile stop.

I admit I’m not the Mexican food type of person so when we had our night out, my friends and i checked out this place coz it looked really nice and its very instagrammable. My friend ordered food for everyone and i was like ok whatever as long as i have a margarita or anythng with alcohol. A few moments later food was served and there was i a changed man.. i dint expect mexican food to be that good and tasteful! Have i been eating in the wrong mexican restos?! I personally loved the birria and fajitas 😋 id definitely come back to Patron when i visit El Nido again!
