Bad service and FOOD POISONING.
We ordered nachos and they were stale, not even crunchy anymore and tasted like they’d been in the bowl for a day and a night. Plus the guacamole is served aside on a ridiculously small cup and the nacho plate itself has cheese and meat which is not stated on the menu.
I am vegetarian so I ordered quesadillas, but they were unavailable because ‘they ran out of cheese’, but somehow there were 2 kinds of cheese on the nachos. My friend ordered a birria taco and that came with loads of cheese, even though tacos traditionally don’t have cheese. I asked the waitress how come you can’t make quesadillas? She again replied they ran out of cheese. Perhaps it’s a language barrier. I pointed at my friend’s birria tacos and asked if they could make the mushroom tacos they offered but with cheese. She said that’d be an additional fee, i accepted, and the tacos came without cheese.
As we were leaving, the waiter approached the next table like ‘quesadilla for you?’
The next day we woke up with terrible food poisoning that...

Before coming here you need to understand something. They “THINK” mexican food is ALL spicy so they will put chili in EVERY dish. My gf do not enjoy spicy food as much I do, so I ordered for here some dishes that in the menu are marked as non spicy. They were spicy anyway and when we asked why, the waiter said more or less this “the chef and owner likes mexican food spicy and every mexican dish is spicy, so you know already that if you eat mexican will be spicy” After that she also said that “usually” she inform the costumer that every dish is spicy but today she forgot. (Did she offer to replace my gf dish with something not spicy? NO )
So if you don’t like spicy food,...

They didn't really have a greeting like the other places down the street but I guess that's because they're pretty packed. When we got up there was only 1 table left. We stayed here for an hour or so during an early evening happy hour crawl and ordered the Churros and a potato dish that bacon, sour cream and some sort of salsa. and a couple of cocktails The food was delicious and the portions very generous. I was surprised but the churros because the pictures on the menu/signs made me think it would be smaller but I was pleasantly surprised. It was freshly fried, used real cocoa for the dip ( as far as my drunk ass could taste)
Only think that bothered me was that the water went off in the bathroom I could still wash my hands and flush thanks to a drum of water and a pain inside. I told the wait staff and I think they did something...
