I only leave reviews when I'm truly impressed. I've had Thai food from across the United States, and this is one of the best I've had. It's on par with Panoy Bistro (Laotian) in Grass Valley, CA. Food and service are fantastic. Atmosphere only gets a few minor knocks.

The Prawn Curry was very, very good. I highly recommend that for anyone with wheat and cow milk allergies. The Pad Thai is excellent as well. All of the food for me and other tables was presented well. The Mango Sticky rice was definitely unique. Fresh Mango and coconut milk and different flavors of sticky rice rolled into balls of their respective flavors.

Service was fantastic as well. The hostess was very accommodating, and she and the chef went beyond what most do to accommodate my mom's wheat and Cow dairy allergies. They asked my mom what seemed like every step of the cooking process if certain ingredients were good for her to eat. It is highly recommended you get a reservation or be willing to wait possibly a while for a table. Take out is an option.

The atmosphere is mostly great. The restaurant is on the second floor, which is nice, but the entrance on the first floor and lack of overall seating detract from a fantastic rating. You wouldn't think you're walking into a very good place from the entrance on the first floor alone. It seems to always be crowded in the restaurant as well, which makes it a bit cramped with the volume of people. The actual inside of the restaurant itself is very nice. It definitely feels like a hole in the wall Thai place, which gives it a good homey feel. It's clean and well maintained. Bar seating on the balcony overlooking the water...

‘Big Bad Thai’ - more like ‘Big Awful Thai’. This restaurant ought to be an award winner… for the worst service in the whole of Asia.

We ordered Yellow Curry and a Beef dish. To our surprise people next to us who arrived later, had their dinner served and eaten and left before we had received ours. This was a common theme of the evening. We repeatedly asked for updates, it seemed initially the hadn’t put the order through, yet they didn’t admit this. They then said after we’d chased for a second time that it was because we ordered the beef! Which is bizarre as we saw the same beef dish brought out in no time to other people. It felt like they were just plucking different excuses out of thin air. After we chased for the THIRD time, they brought out the yellow curry on its own for us to share (we gave no indication of our intentions to to share our meal), it was actually tasty, then again we were so hungry a scabby donkey would have been tasty, however still no sign of the beef, it eventually comes and it is cold! We let the waitress know and she said oh it’s because it’s actually a salad it’s just under the ‘mains’ part of the menu but it shouldn’t be.. at that point we just gave up and sent it back. We both left the restaurant hungry and frustrated that hours of our evening was wasted to just share a dish and have to plead for them to bring us our food to us. Save yourself the time and stress and eat elsewhere, ‘Not so Thai’ is another Thai restaurant nearby that we wished we...

I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT!!! I live in Nacpan and come here every week without fail.

The food is great, I would recommend the cashew chicken, pad kra pao and massaman, but their cashew chicken is my favorite!

As someone who lived in Thailand for 2 years and adores thai food, I could not be more grateful that this restaurant is here, aroi mak!

The only improvement for me would be if they had a real prik nam pla for the pad kra pao, but the chef specially makes something similar with calamansi for me when I order it, and it's still nice.

They have chang and Leo beer,as well as a beautiful Chilli margarita called a Thairita, which is a must try!

The views are great, at the back you have a full view of the bay, and at the front is great for people watching over the street. They also have an upstairs area which is very cosy.

I would advise to book in advance if you are going in high season in the evening,as it is often full and has a line of people waiting.

The service is excellent. A special shout out to my favorite, Dani, who always remembers me and my order and greets me with a big smile, just like in thailand! She is honestly the best!

This is a must try place in El nido if you love Thai food, thankyou for always being so welcoming and giving me such delicious food every time!

One more positive, the portion sizes are huge, and food is usually served within 5 mins of ordering, I honestly can't...

Mixed feelings for this place. I ordered the Thai Seafood Platter a little bit spicy (it was indicated in the menu that the dish is adjustable in spiciness). I received the dish and the egg smelled bad, the octopus and the rice noodles were cold and didn’t taste of anything, and the Chicharones were bad and not crispy. I told the waiter and he brought me a plate to put these things onto it and brought it back to the kitchen. Already after this experience I couldn’t really enjoy the shrimp and mussels because I was afraid they might be bad, too (which they weren’t I have to say, it was just psychological). The worst part however was that after 5 minutes the manager confronted me saying that everything tastes accordingly and he was sorry the dish wasn’t for me. He also said that everything is supposed to be served cold and that normally there was a spicy sauce served together which brings in the taste. He admitted the food doesn’t taste like much without the sauce, but blamed me for saying I didn’t want it spicy. If I had known that this is a dish that relies so much on the spicy sauce, I wouldn’t have taken it and would have expected the waiter to tell me when I ordered. He made clear that there would be no discount on the dish and I wouldn’t be able to return it, but offered me a free drink instead. Very very disappointing way of handling the situation, surely not coming back here.
