Maayong hapon,
Last March 28 around 4 PM, I placed an order using your machine and paid ₱1,244. Unfortunately, the machine malfunctioned and did not process our order. We were there because my child wanted to complete his Minecraft Happy Meal toy collection. Sadly, instead of being "happy," we left hungry and disappointed.
I immediately raised the issue with your manager, Ms. Yvonne. She told us to wait at least 24 hours for the payment to be reversed. We left, but my father — a senior citizen — was already complaining about being hungry. Even my child was heartbroken. We ended up transferring to another restaurant, American Backyard, just to eat.
After 24 hours, we returned to your store, but there was still no refund. I spoke again to Ms. Yvonne. She asked for a photo of the receipt and reference number, even though I had already given my name and contact number on the first day. She didn’t reach out — we had to go back ourselves.
Then after 24 hours, the time and effort, she said we had to wait 3–5 business days. I explained that this was money we worked hard for, and if the issue was between McDonald’s and Maya, it should be resolved internally — not passed on to us. She insisted the store was still waiting for a response from Maya. I gave her my email, and she said she would CC me in the follow-ups. I never received any emails.
She also said she would contact the head manager, but came back saying that the manager was driving and could only confirm the same response — again, no solution. No one even offered us water, despite my senior father feeling upset. He even started choking from frustration.
Around 5 days later, I got a text from Ms. Yvonne asking if the refund had been reversed. I called her over 12 times before she finally answered. I told her that I hadn’t received anything. She said she would follow up again, and I reminded her she never emailed me as promised. I also asked where I could escalate my concern. She just said, “itext lang naku, Ma’am,” — but no follow-up text came.
I finally reached out to McDonald’s CSR via 8888 6236 on April 4, and they told me they had received no report from your store. They said to continue following up with the branch. And here we are — it’s already April 10, and still no refund, no update, and no proper communication from your team. I tried calling again — no response.
This is hard-earned money. You have been missing in action, and now you don’t even answer our calls. Is this how customer service works? Are we supposed to be the ones doing all the follow-ups? Please take responsibility and give us a proper update. We deserve better.

Read moreWhen they started closing their doors from the unvaccinated, they started opening their doors to sick vaccinated individuals. This is based on my experience. I asked the staff why they allow sick people with vaccination cards (heard them coughing and having colds) to dine in while they are not allowing unvaccinated individuals who do not appear to be having any form of sickness (like cough, or 🤧) : to not be allowed inside (even just to order). 😅 The staff replied...that the instruction they received was only to differentiate vaccinated from unvaccinated , and not determine if they are symptomatic or not. 😆😅
Then I noticed this (see photo) on their glass door. 🤣🤣🤣
I also had a bad experience wherein I ordered Coke Zero and the one served was a Regular Coke.
Any diabetic patient could have ended with a high spike in sugar, that would eventually lead to so many bad things if it was unnoticed.
So, as a tip, always ask them twice or thrice because no one wants to be in coma (worst case scenario) or be rushed to the ER across the road just because someone gave a regular coke to a customer who requested coke zero. It happened twice already actually.
They asked an apology but I'm still hesitant each time and I always ask again and again just to be sure . Or to be certain, watch the crew which softdrinks they are getting your drink from.
For those unvaccinated ones, pick up (grab and food panda orders) and drive thru options are made available.for you.
If you have no car, cannot drive through, not a techie, just don't buy from this store because they have no staffs to assist manual / OTC buying in your behalf 😅
🤔 was that anti poor?
Also, in case you need to use the restroom, even if it's an emergency, you will never be allowed inside McDonald's unless you get " your card vaccinated" 🤫😜✌️😅😆🤣 (still...
Read moreThis branch has always been our go-to place for the past several years for midnight snack or late night dinner, and never had any problems whatsoever in those years.
McDonald's has been a favorite fast food of choice for some Filipinos and despite having tough competition from a direct local competitor, it has stood its ground.
I like this branch because it is very accesible and public transport has never been a problem even in the middle of the night. If you are caring for a patient in the adjacent hospitals, McDo is a reliable go-to store. As far as I can remember, this branch offers free Wi-Fi, but I wasn't able to clarify why it wasn't...
