Layover restobar — Restaurant in Lapu-Lapu

An American style sports bar. If you're looking for a western style sports bar/pub this is it. Great bar, great selection, great service. Pretty staff and attentive staff. Pool table, foosball, beer pong, 3 flat screen TVs above the bar and a large projection on the wall...all with sports on. The atmosphere is exactly what I've been searching for in Cebu. You can make friends or sit, watch a game and enjoy your favorite beverage. Music is mostly American, mix between pop, rock and lots of country but not at an obnoxious decibel level. Kind of a hole-in-the-wall type place. Throw some Harley's out front and it would be a great biker bar!! Oh, and cheapest prices for drinks you'll find on the island. 180php (about $3.15usd) for a properly poured shot of JD. You'll pay 450peso at your hotel!! Walking distance from the Newtown complex. Wow! I really like this place. The buffalo wings are great! Get them with fries, and a cold beer. I’ve been living here in Lapu Lapu for 4 years. I can honestly say they’re on level with the best. Their signature drink, whiskey sour, will catch your attention. If you love bourbon, you’ll love this cocktail. The bartenders are super friendly and delightful. Plus, they speak very good English! The restroom/toilet/comfort room is in an art deco style, in my humble opinion. Easy parking. Simple menu. Can’t wait to try the other menu items. It's just off the highway down the road...

My girlfriend and I went for dinner in the Layover and really enjoyed everything. The food was fresh and delicious with Filipino and Western classics represented on the menu.
