I had a wonderful time at Tea of Spring, the Chinese restaurant in Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort & Spa, Cebu.
If you have planned to skip Chinese food, thinking ‘Why have Chinese food in Cebu when they are so accessible in Korea?’, I would say that you should try the food at Tea of Spring, the best Chinese restaurant in the Philippines.
I visited the restaurant at 7 pm, and the interior was spacious and yet cozy and comfortable. The kindness and perfect service of the staff made me feel appreciated throughout the meal.
One of the staff, Miss Elizabeth noticed that we were having trouble deciding what to order on the menu and came over to explain the menu and make recommendations in Korean. Her assistance made is so easy to choose the perfect dishes. My company and I really enjoyed all the dishes she recommended.
Miss Liza, the manager, walked around the restaurant and regularly made sure the guests are receiving the best service. I felt very happy because we were treated so well as she constantly refilled the ice bucket while we were drinking Tsingtao.
I would like to thank Miss Liza, Miss Elizabeth and all the kitchen staff for providing us such a beautiful dining experience. I certainly recommend Tea of Spring to everyone visiting Cebu!

한국에서 편하게 먹을 수 있는 중식을 세부에서도 먹을까? 라는 생각을 하면서, 중식을 안 드시려고 계획하셨다면! 필리핀 최고의 레스토랑에서의 중식을 꼭 경험해 보시라고 얘기하고 싶습니다.
저녁 7시에 방문을 했는데, 내부는 넓고 아늑했으며, 편안한 분위기에요. 직원들의 친절함과 완벽한 서비스로 식사하는 내내 좋은 기분이었습니다.
Miss. Elizabeth 직원은 우리가 메뉴 고르기에 어려워하고 있으니, 옆에 다가와서 한국어로 메뉴 추천을 해줘서 메뉴 선택하기가 한결 수월했습니다. 저와 일행 모두 정말 맛있게 먹었습니다!
Miss. Liza 매니저는 테이블 다니면서 불편한점 없는지 수시로 신경써줬으며, 칭따오를 마시는데 끊이지 않고 얼음등을 챙겨주는 세심함에, 대접 받는 다는 느낌이 들어 기분이 너무 좋았습니다.

Romeo is so knowledgeable about the dishes flavours, the cooking techniques and gave us a great laugh.
The pairing of flavours were fresh, expertly balanced with just the right seasoning. The chefs clearly understand the art of Chinese cooking, letting the natural flavors shine while enhancing them with the perfect touch of spices/aromatics. The taste and textures are on point.

Read morewe were asked for our reservation when we were told by earlier by shangrila receptionist that no reservation accepted because its first come first serve basis. the service was a chaos it took almost 2 hours before our orders were served. even the dimsum took more than an hour! all the staff were giving conflicting statements on the reservation issue. further more the take out of our leftover was not complete! what were included were just the crumbs! the substantial part the minced duck meat and the fried rice was not included. these were served so late that we just planned it ti be our dinner since it was already 3 pm when it was served. this issue of dishonesty must not be tolerated and must be resolved...
