La Parisienne Mactan — Restaurant in Lapu-Lapu

Lots of great things to say about this restaurant. The decor and interior design was very inviting and cozy. It's like a French Bistro with the wooden ceilings and brick walls. The wooden tables and chairs match the entire aesthetic of the place, and the wine display adds a sophisticated touch as well. The menu features mostly italian dishes, but you can also get some french and asian varieties as well. The servers were very accommodating, and serving time took only around 10-15 minutes. The food was fresh and top quality. The pizza was immaculate and was one of my favorites. Another dish that I was surprised by, was the chicken satay skewers. It was very flavorful and juicy. The Greek salad was very fresh and acidic, balancing out the whole meal. I would very much recommend trying out different flavors of their gelato, as each of them was special in their own way. Very sad about this restaurant. We are long term customers, and we've been buying there since it opened. But in 2025, they increased their prices and especially the quality dropped.

I just ordered the paella, it is now more expensive and they serve you half the portion. This is supposed to be good for 3 people. Look, this wouldn't make one adult full. I don't know what happened to this restaurant but the current owner of this location has turned too greedy and is now disrespecting his customers. That's a real shame.

Here is a comparison between the paella I ordered last year VS today. I don't know if it really shows but the portion of rice was at least twice bigger. We can now see the bottom of the tray in some parts since the portion is so small.

Food is pretty good, it's a full service restaurant but if you want anything you have to get up and go to the front and ask for it.

Been there twice and both times experienced terrible service.

You ask for one thing (on the menu) you get another.

We went as a couple and serviced individually. My plate was serviced 10 mins before my partners. I ended up returning my plate and said "we arrived as a couple, and we want to be served as a couple and NOT eat individually."

Do NOT expect them to clear the table of dirty dishes until you are ready to leave. Do NOT expect them to offer you another drink or ask if you are enjoying your food.

All this to say the other 2 tables received equally terrible service as I witnessed them having to get up and go to the front to...
