We read so many reviews about this restaurant and how amazing the food was.

What a disappointment.

The evening started off with an issue that should have been easily preventable. Online address of the formal Facebook account gave an old address. So we now instead of arriving early would Now be arriving late.

Upon arrival we were greeted immediately, and shown seating in a newer restaurant that looked More Like a cafeteria, than fine dining. Loud. Open seating. Cold and unwelcoming.

While we did arrive some 10 minutes late due to their error in not updating the address online, half way into our meal we were asked to finalize our orders for the evening. Forget about Dessert? More drinks? And now a feeling of being rushed to leave the restaurant. Truly disappointing.

Ordered drinks prior to The meal, these drinks arrived after the first course and some drinks the second course of food. (Even after asking twice again after the initial order.). While the staff serving was friendly, the back of the restaurant and front obviously need to work better together to serve in a timely matter. Drinks alone should not take 20 + minutes to get to a table.

We only ordered beer, wine and a mango shake. These should be easy. And the restaurant at this time wasn’t even busy. Maybe 1/4 full. Staff everywhere and yet…

As for Food quality. I’m no Chef, but our pasta dishes with ingredients purchased at S & R exceeded the flavor and quality of our pasta dish. The meatballs were better than average. The flat bread was good and thin as noted in the menu. The Ceasar salad was sub par for a fine dining experience.

Overall. I don’t know why the ratings of this restaurant are as they show. I’ve been eating in restaurants all over the Philippines for over 15 years. This was by far for the hype and price the biggest disappointment in over 5 years.

The chef needs to get the act together for this restaurant. Warm the ambiance (even soft music could help) softer textiles so the noise level is lessened.

Our recent dining experience left much to be desired. Despite making a reservation in advance to ensure a smooth experience, our visit to this establishment was marred by significant delays and subpar service. Upon arriving promptly at 1 PM, we waited nearly 20 minutes before placing our order. Regrettably, only half of our dishes arrived within a reasonable timeframe, while the remainder inexplicably took an additional half hour more to reach our table.

Despite observing other patrons who arrived after us receiving their meals promptly and departing, we were left waiting uncomfortably long. Our preference to enjoy all dishes together was thwarted by the prolonged wait, resulting in lukewarm food by the time everything was served. Despite expressing our concerns to the staff, we received no satisfactory explanation other than the acknowledgment of being busy.

In line with the sentiments shared by others, we must convey that there are superior dining options available at similar price points with far better service. While I typically reserve my reviews for positive experiences, it is with disappointment that I must caution others against patronizing this establishment.
