This restaurant was on my go to list for a while, and I'm glad i finally made my visit today.

It is truly a hidden gem of Makati as the location is kind of hidden.

The all day breakfast menu is delicious. I ordered the chicken teriyaki and beef tapislog.

The portion seems to have shrunk based on the pictures I've seen posted in the past. However, with that being said, the portion size is still a good amount.

The rice was well cooked and al dente. It wasnt mushy or wet at all. The chicken teriyaki was tender and well seasoned. The flavors blended well together. The beef tapa was also tender and marinated well. Both dishes were really good andnot oily. I would order both again.

The coffee was also good and i honestly didnt expext it. I ordered an iced americano. It was one of the best Americanos I've had. It didn't have a sour or bitter aftertaste at all but still strong and flavorful. They even have sucralose as well.

The atmosphere was very cozy with many seating areas. Water is self serve.

Credit card accepted.

Highly recommended

Update: August 2025

For some reason the food didnt taste as good today. The tapislog was very oily and the rice tasted old (dry and clumpy).

Will see if the 3rd time...

Alto has become one of my go-to spots. It’s super convenient since it’s close to my workplace and also near the studios I usually visit after work for my classes. I’ve been here several times already — for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and of course, coffee.

What I love about this place is how quiet and peaceful it is. Even though it’s located in the Car Park, it’s tucked a bit inside, the very corner, which gives it a cozy, hidden café vibe. It’s never too crowded, and the ambience is just right — relaxing enough to unwind or get some work done.

Their menu offers plenty of coffee options, and I’ve enjoyed every one I’ve tried so far. At first glance, the prices might seem a bit high, but once you see the serving sizes, you’ll realize it’s absolutely worth it. The portions are huge and definitely for sharing — one dish could easily feed two or even three people if you’re not that hungry.

Overall, ALTO Grounds Coffee is a great spot to chill, enjoy good food and coffee, and take a quiet break from the busy day. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a relaxing café near the area. Great...

Alto is a good place to enjoy a nice meal out. The food may not be the most extensive in variety, but what they do offer is quite good—and definitely worth the price. You’ll feel like you’re getting your money’s worth with the quality and portion sizes.

Their drinks are also worth mentioning—well-prepared and satisfying. The ambiance adds to the experience too: warm, modern, and inviting. The space is wide enough that you won’t feel cramped, even during peak hours, which makes dining here more comfortable.

Food service can take a bit of time, especially when the place gets busy, but it’s understandable and not a deal-breaker.

One thing that could be improved, though, is the attitude of the staff. A smile or even just a more welcoming demeanor can go a long way in enhancing the overall experience. Some of the staff seem a bit unapproachable or even unfriendly, which is a shame given how good the rest of the place is. Hopefully, a bit more training on customer service could help them match the quality of their...

Alto Grounds, tucked away near the Enterprise Building on Delarosa Street, is a cozy spot that totally surprised me. Despite being in a parking building, it’s got this cool vibe that feels nothing like it sounds. What I love about Alto Grounds is how chill it is. The place has a relaxed feel with nice decor, and you’d never guess it’s budget-friendly. Their breakfasts are a steal – hefty servings at a great price. The coffee’s pretty good too, I’d give it a solid 4 out of 5. I just ordered the plain coffee, so its nothing fancy, but it hits the spot. I stumbled upon Alto Grounds when my original brunch spot was packed, and boy, was it a lucky find. The staff were super friendly and on point, making the whole experience even better. Overall, Alto Grounds is a cool spot to kick back and enjoy a hearty meal without breaking the bank. If you’re in the area and looking for a laid-back hangout, give it a shot.
