Every Saturday, the outdoor market, Farmer Market, is held here. There are various types of groceries, fruits, vegetables, daily necessities and foods. The market is open every Saturday at 7:00 am. However, the price is a bit more expensive than the local market because there are many foreigners and many tourists in this area. The purchase price is marked on most products, so foreigners can easily identify. Everyone can buy most of the food ingredients such as fresh organic fruits and vegetables, meat and alcohol, and can enjoy simple snacks such as various fruit juices, berry toe, kebabs, hot dogs, dances, panties, Korean food and skewers. It is a great place to take a look at one or two hours on Saturday morning and enjoy various sights and cooking.

This farmers' market, held every Saturday, is relatively clean compared to traditional markets and is like a small town festival in the...

Jaime Velasquez park or Salcedo park as it is usually called is placed in the middle of a busy Makati city block. Surrounding it on all sides are restaurants, condos, coffee shops and offices. This makes the park the perfect place to just go in and relieve the stress of city life. Or, just have a bit of peace and quiet (as long as one can get the quiet without hearing a gorrila honking his horn believing it will magically open up the street for him). Ok Saturday, the place is transformed to a sort of a farmer's market or village center where one can buy local foods, homegrown veggies, plants, fruits, and other useful house things one has a hard time finding living on the city All on all, the park is a nice quiet Bd defence green spot in the hard grey stone and...
