MIN SOK Korean BBQ - Poblacion, Makati Rating: 4/5

Craving that legit Korean BBQ experience without breaking the bank? Min Sok Korean Restaurant is where it’s at!

This hidden gem in Poblacion serves quality meat cuts that hit the spot—juicy, flavorful, and grilled perfectly by their friendly staff. Yup, no need to stress about cooking it yourself—they do the grilling while you sit back, chill, and drool over the sizzle.

Bonus? Sides are refillable TWICE. So yes, that sweet, savory kimchi and those addicting pickled radishes? You’re getting more. Oh—and for every two orders of meat, they’ll hook you up with a FREE steamed egg—fluffy, light, and comforting. Perfect pang-complement sa smoky samgyup!

The staff? Super courteous and attentive. You’ll feel well taken care of from start to finish. Only downside? It’s cash only—so make sure you’re ready para walang hassle.

If you’re after authentic, no-frills, Korean BBQ goodness—Min Sok is definitely worth the trip. Sulit, satisfying, and legit Korean vibes.

Hanap mo ba ‘yung totoo? Min...

This is one of my favorite Korean restaurants. It's owned by a very nice Korean couple who will always be at the restaurant (at least one of them or their son) to make sure things are running smoothly.

I've been eating here for at least 7 years (in fact, I was just there the past week), and the food is consistently good. The food is good for sharing and expect to pay about P300 per person. My favorite thing about this place are the sides. I especially LOVE the fish cakes, which are so delicious and which you get for FREE.

Just note that this isn't a super fancy restaurant. It has a very homey vibe to it, which I personally like.

I think it goes without saying that I HIGHLY recommend this place.

P.S. If you get two orders of grilled meat, you get a soup dish (you can choose from the soup dishes worth P250, ask the server) for free. It's not on the menu, there are no signs, but I always just ask the server...

Hands down the best samgyeopsal in which I've had the pleasure of dining in Metro Manila—no exaggerations.

The first thing that impressed on me was the use of pork fat instead of vegetable oil to set the grill. Here, the server also grills the meat for you, which makes the food a lot more consistent and the dining experience more relaxed.

The use of gasul also means the heat is more controlled, so you still get good quality grilling without the discomfort of heat radiating from the grill.

The meat, of course, is tender and delicious. I recommend the ox tongue for a good time.

Service here is fast, and we were in and out in 45 minutes—eating and billing out included.

The sides were delicious. I don't normally finish the sides but I just inhaled everything!

This samgyeopsal is a MUST MUST MUST try for anyone who loves Korean grilled food.

They also accept GCash payment, which is...

Nestled in the heart of Poblacion, we were expecting fellow Filipinos to be dining there on a busy Friday night, but it was packed with Koreans—so we knew that this place was close to serving authentic and tasty Korean food. We ordered the Chadolbaki (beef brisket to be grilled), haemul pajeon (seafood and green onion pancake), steamed egg (always a must!), and sundubu jjigae and everything WAS SO GREAT! We were group of four and by the end of the meal, we were so full that we couldn’t even finish the makgeolli we ordered. If you want to eat Korean food without pushing yourself to the limit (due to those unli servings haha), then do go visit the place. The servers and the one who cooked the meats were approachable, so that’s a plus. Do get here before 6pm since the place gets really packed by 6:30pm onwards.

I only discovered this place by Googling it and read that this place has good reviews and I can now say that these good reviews are true. The food in general is really good. The meat and the vegies tastes fresh. I also like that their side dishes are home made which gave it an authentic korean dish taste. The owners are really accommodating and warm as well. Price wise, I think its not as expensive as other korean restaurants since we only paid around 1500+ for our group of 4 and I can tell you, we are really really full. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a good korean restaurant in makati.

I don't usually fancy Korean food, but I thought Minsok was a lovely and humble establishment. The first time I visited, I walked in on a rainy day at almost closing time but the staff and Eun were so kind to accommodate. The second time I visited, I tried the egg and pork belly, which were reasonable portions. Sides were delicious, along with the mains. On both occasions, the place is mostly packed with Koreans. I was also the only solo diner, but that was fine I recommend – for the taste of food kept authentic, helpful service staff, and price.
