Jumong Korean Restaurant is my go-to place whenever I'm craving some seriously good Korean food. It's like stepping into a little corner of Seoul right in Poblaciob. The moment I walk in, the cozy atmosphere and delicious aromas instantly put me in a great mood.
What I love most about Jumong is their generous servings. Seriously, you get so much food for your money that it feels like a steal! And let me tell you, it's not just quantity; the quality is top-notch too. Every dish is bursting with authentic flavors that take my taste buds on a delightful journey.
The staffs and specially the owner, who's always around, adds a personal touch that makes me feel like a valued customer. They go out of their way to ensure everyone is having a great time, and it's these little things that keep me coming back.
And let's not forget about the free-flowing side dishes – they're seriously addictive! I can't get enough of those tasty little treats that come with every meal. It's like getting a bonus feast alongside your main order.
Speaking of the menu, it's a treasure trove of Korean delights. Whether I'm in the mood for classics like Bibimbap or feeling adventurous enough to try something new, Jumong has never disappointed me.
In a nutshell, Jumong Korean Restaurant is the kind of place that feels like home for any Korean food lover. It's where I satisfy my cravings, catch up with friends, and enjoy the warmth of Korean hospitality. If you haven't been there yet, you're seriously missing out! Trust me, you won't regret making Jumong your new...
Read moreHonestly, we don't really recommend this place but of course feel free to try this out if you fancy a Korean restaurant and it is already late at night. Perhaps that's one of the pros that they have aside from the owner being nice in contrast to the bored servers. We went on a Saturday late lunch and there were only two other customers aside from us but the service was really terrible.
We were originally planning to take lots of pictures because we were supposed to feature them on our blog (not sponsored) but we didn't bother anymore because we were met with the saddest looking side dishes. They only gave us two pieces of baby potatoes and when we asked if they can give us more, the server looked at us and said with a stern face that we had to eat those first before asking for a refill (take note, the refills are not unlimited). Of course, we understand the logic behind the policy to avoid food waste but come on, you can do way better with other Korean restaurants. We also didn't like the Kimchi Jjigae, it was just spicy. That's it. We liked their beef stew but it's not a good enough reason to come back. Even the samgyupsal was not that good. Too bad, the place actually...

food was tasty and high quality. the side dishes were delicious and as you know, people don't usually finish them because there's always one (or two) that aren't good or to your taste, but all the side dishes served to us were winners. we also had the yukgaejang (spicy beef soup) and it was really good, had the beefy flavor but still balanced and not over seasoned. just enough vegetables and beef with the soup and noodles in it. the meat we ordered were perfectly cooked by the staff and we were overall really satisfied with the taste and flavor of our dinner! we will definitely come back to try more...
