We were a group of 6 young adults from Makati/Manila Area

Our newest comfort food place is "Hole in the Wall" store in Century City Mall

I had my first nice experience with Century City Mall last month (May 2016)

Last night, we decided to visit "Hole in the Wall" store again. It was a pleasant dinner experience

After dinner, my friend used Grab app on her phone to get a ride home.

We accompanied her to the entrance/exit of the mall to ensure her safety/security. The security staff of the mall saw us exit the mall and we waited in front of the security staff for the car.

The car arrived and our friend left (we took note of the "plate number" of the car)

We tried to enter the mall again, as my car was parked in the mall (basement 2). There were 4 security staff of the mall who blocked our entry back into the mall. They suggested us to go around the mall and enter through "Starbucks" store. We did not feel safe with this advise (we tried to enter the mall again but was strongly directed/advised to use "Starbucks" entry).

We had a scary walk on the dark streets of General Luna Street - Kalayaan Avenue. It seems the security staff of the mall wanted us to walk on the darkness as we perceived they were up to no good (i.e. theft or other criminal acts - as I was walking with 4 ladies which included my wife). The side of the Mall had no proper lighting although it was being described and marketed as an upscale mall. This experience clearly shows the contrary. I strongly suggest that this mall should not be considered a safe/secure mall for customers/mall goers.

Once we reached one of the entrances/exits of the mall that was midway to the "Starbucks" entrance. We again tried to use the entrance but was strongly talked into continuing our walk towards the "Starbucks" entrance/exit. We did not press / push our opinion on the security staff as they held long fire arms and we did not feel safe/secure.

After a scary 20 mins walk on the dark side street of the mall, we reached the "Starbucks" entrance/exit (which did not have any security staff from the mall - which again places into question the dedication to customer security of the mall administration)

Upon reaching the basement 2 parking, I asked the parking attendant if the parking area is the property of the mall and managed by the mall administration. He proudly said yes.

For your safety, I strongly suggest to not visit Century City Mall or other properties by this developer (I understand that they also own/manage Centuria medical center - I would assume that if they have these security problems in the operations of the mall, they would not be well equipped to manage or handle a healthcare facility properly - I am an international public health expert and an experienced healthcare facility manager so this is something that I know very well.)

If it was not clear in my narrative above, let me summarize: I hate how the security staff of Century City Mall treated me, my wife and our friends. We did not feel safe/secure with our recent visit to Century City Mall. I strongly suggest not to visit Century City Mall because of our recent...

A convenient mall for nearby residents with decent enough store, service and restaurant options. Smaller but less crowded than nearby Powerplant Mall at Rockwell.

Living right next door to this mall, I've been inside many times. For sure it's a decent mall with all the usual stores and services we've come to expect. There are 3 entrances. The back where Coffee Bean opens before the mall itself to entice customers inside while they wait. The front entrance and the side entrance where Starbucks opens first.

The Starbucks back line of tables is usually fully occupied by laptop workers by mid-morning till late afternoon. Coffee Bean has fewer workers but some still take foot at the only spot with a power outlet. You could also work at Hole in the Wall food court as there is usually a lot of free space between Lunch & Dinner.

There is Century City Cinema with 4 screens that shows the most popular foreign and local offerings. One of the screens is 'Premier' with Lay-z-Boy style chairs. The tickets cost around P250 for normal screens and P500 for the 'Premier', although the latter comes with a free Popcorn and Drink from nearby 'Taters' or Coffee & Cookier from Toby's Coffee. The cinemas are usually cold so bring a jacket!

There are fast-food options and a couple of sit-down restaurants in the basement along with the supermarket and currency exchange. There are other restaurants scattered throughout the mall with most preferred tastes catered to. Hole in the Wall on the top floor is a large food court with a decent selection of food options and service staff to help.

The basement level of the mall has long suffered a lack of air conditioning which makes for a hot waiting line at the Rustans supermarket. The food court at Hole in the Wall on the 4th floor can be hot too but the atmosphere usually makes up for it. The rest of the mall is usually comfortable.

Parking is the usual P50 and there's plenty of...

Around December 2014 when Century City Mall was fairly new me and my friends were on a double date movie. After the show I forgot my bag inside the cinema just a few minutes after leaving. We all rushed to get back to fetch it since it's contents are my wallet and gadget. We asked the maintenance crew and the security personel if they found a small black bag around the area where we were seated before, but it seems that they we're clueless or some seemed to act like it. The usual protocol of these cinemas after show was the security personel will check if there were items left by the movie watchers then the clean up crew will swoop in after them. My girlfriend and a friend of mine were suspecting a suspicious acting security guard who's acting like he's in a hurry to leave. My girlfriend ran back inside the cinema and caught him grabbing something in the corner back part of the seating area and stuffed something quickly inside his bag. As soon as he departed we asked another guard to hold him and check his bag. At first he refused to have his bag checked, then after the head security arrived the scene he had no choice but to open his bag. Lo and behold my bag was in his possession. This is why you should be aware of your belongings and you shouldn't fully trust even...

I used to be a customer at Skyline and decided to attend one of their events i paid for, during which I won 2nd place in a competition and was awarded a voucher as a prize as it’s attached knowing that the fees of participation was 2000. Today, I tried to redeem the voucher only to be told it couldn’t be accepted because “the management or owner has changed.” That’s a poor excuse. The business is still operating under the same name, and customers shouldn’t be affected by internal issues. To make things worse, when I asked to speak with someone in charge, I was told their supervisor wasn’t around, and no one else was willing to take responsibility or offer a solution. I ended up paying for the dinner even though I had a valid prize from an event they hosted themselves. The service was terrible unhelpful staff, no accountability, and a complete lack of professionalism. This place has gone downhill. If you’re expecting fair treatment, decent customer service, or any kind of respect don’t waste your time or money at Skyline.
