We chose this hotel after we read some of the reviews but boy we were disappointed.
First day we arrive the room had a funny smell, something like someone has sprayed too much air freshener that made the whole room impossible to breath. My partner has asthma and couldn’t stay even for 10 seconds in there. We called the front desk and they said they would send up someone to check. We waited (outside) and no one was coming. We couldn’t even open any window as they windows were locked, and you couldn’t open them. As a side note let me say we asked for a room with a view and the only view we got was the skylight and all you could see were gray walls!
In any case we went down to the front desk and explained the situation and asked them if they would change our room. Their response is that they were fully booked, and they couldn’t, but they would send someone up to check. We said check what? Could they ventilate the room to get the heavy bad air freshener smell off? Of course not! So we said ok let’s go up. One of the guy comes up with an air freshener in his hand ready to spray more! We couldn’t believe it. We explained the issue wasn’t a bad smell it was too much of a smell that made the room unbreathable for us.
In the meantime we checked online to see if there were any available rooms and to our surprise we saw they had many rooms available for our days.
So we went down again and told the lady at the front desk again about giving us another room. Her reply was again negative and at that point I told her ok we checked online and we saw that you have plenty of rooms available so either you are lying or something else is happening. After telling her this “magically” a room was available! So we went and checked the room and it was ok. No smell at all. It was a smaller room thought but we didn’t complain or anything.
So we moved to this room. Again, there was no view, and at the front desk when I asked the lady that we wanted one with a view she said none of their rooms have a view! Ok we didn’t say anything. But guess what, when we went out that day, we saw that many of the rooms had a street view. Not only that, but she also gave us a room that outside our window (remember you cannot open the windows) there was a huge air ventilation system that made so much noise!! We didn’t say anything about that either because at that point after going up and down at least we had a room you could breathe in.
Let me just also add that the rooms were clean when we first got in. But during our four day stay the cleaning staff only changed the towels and did nothing else. Didn’t clean the toilet or washbasin, or hoovered the carpet or clean our night stands and other furniture. Nothing of the sort!
On top of all these it's been 2 weeks we checked out and the hotel hasn't credited my account with the deposit amount they held during our check in and after multiple tries to contact them they simply ignore my emails and messages.
Very disappointed with the hotel and the staff and will definitely not stay here again or...
Read moreI am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the quality of service I received during my recent stay at your hotel. I had high expectations based on your establishment’s ads, but unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant.||||First and foremost, I was very disappointed with the rudeness of your staff at the pool area wearing orange shirt and restaurant staff. Upon arrival, before being attended to, we had coffee/cup from outside, later we found out its not allowed and we just ordered to your restaurant and when I did speak to a staff member their tone was dismissive. They asked first if we were checked in. We got two suites fyi ( he sounds degrading like we can't afford the stay at the pool area) Second time he went, He told us to put the coffees on the floor ( which we are no longer drinking and thats very unhygienic) they also want us to pay for the corkage which is not stated on the bill and asked us to pay it multiple times, but I rejected it since we no longer consumed it, and we just ordered from the restaurant. The man wearing gray uniform addressed us, but while talking, he's using nose inhaler inserted to his nose in and out . That's very unhygienic and unprofessional. Also, I left my nephew and went back because he did not have the keycard, and the guy wearing orange shirt didn't even assist him going down, but he served warmly to foreigners! I went up and found out he used the fire exit from 17th going down. Luckilyy, I found him at the stairs! Their behaviour was not only unprofessional but also made us feel uncomfortable throughout our stay. We didn't enjoy the pool access because of the tension. Even we're already wearing swimwear, we just went to our rooms. Moreover, the service provided during our was subpar. The staff appeared disparage in assisting guests.||||Overall, the combination of rude staff and poor service left me with a highly negative impression of your hotel. We had hoped to Filling Station and Bars to celebrate our birthday around the area to enjoy a pleasant experience instead, Found ourselves frustrated and dissatisfied. ||||I urge you to address these issues promptly and take the necessary steps to improve both the service and attitude of your staff. We had no problems with rooms and attendants at the lobby even park attendant were nice. I hope my concerns are taken seriously so that future guests do not have to experience the same issues I encountered.||||Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response and any actions you will take to resolve...
Read moreFrom the time we checked in at this hotel, it’s been a disaster. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Parking is terrible, valet was never offered to us… We were forced to park in a rotary parking garage within the hotel establishment. During this, It scraped the bottom of our car. I was video recording the valet attendant who was helping get the car out of the garage because I was no longer comfortable with the continuous scraping. With concrete proof, no one wanted to take accountability. Two hours passed, another guest decided to help us back out the car and check the bottom of the car for damages. The night supervisor eventually offered for us to park inside the fenced parking lot because of this incident. This was the proposed solution. We parked there. It was mentioned by the same supervisor that it will be our permanent parking for the duration of the stay and they will continue to reserve that spot… up until the last night where they all of a sudden changed terms and made it seem like it’s “first come, first served”. There was a car parked in our spot and they told us we had to park on the street, there were no other options. The following morning, back bumper had a dent / scratch. Again there was no one to take accountability for damaging my rental car, they said it was my choice to park there. I felt as if wasted majority of my time and energy, going back and forth with the hotel staff. Finally with the actual room itself: The safe had to be replaced / fixed several times. Robes not provided for our room. The water in the sink not draining. Didn’t clean our rooms every night. Not too mention the shower has no privacy. The silhouette of the person showering can be viewed from anyone who is in the room. The general manager has no accountability for any of the incidents mentioned above nor wishes to provide any resolutions. Instead only tries to protect themselves and the hotel. I missed an important meeting because of their incompetence with the parking incident in the rotary garage. I would never ever stay here again. Worst time I’ve ever had in the Philippines. Pay a bit more and stay in a more reputable establishment. We were counting the days until we could get out of there. It truly made our trip to the Philippines a complete misery. If you have time to waste then by all...
